Encore Print Shop Professional 4.0

I bought this to design wine bottle labels and could not use it because it would not work with my label stock. I emailed support and was told there are problems with this and they have no idea when it will be resolved. This error was a basic function of the software so they are selling absolute junk.

Not as convenient as I expected.

Brøderbund has made this program for years. Changes the skin now and then but it’s the same awesome, easy to use print project software for making signs That I’ve loved forever. Simple and easy to use.

If it worked with Windows 10 it probably would have been simple to use. There was not an immediate chat, email or phone number to get help. You had to submit a work ticket and someone would get in touch with you about your problem.

Not only has this program become worse and cheesier over the years by getting rid of favorite tools and adding stupid templets. The customer service is horrid! I paid extra for insurance and 3 extra downloads in case I had issues. So right away I had all the issues you read about in other reviews. The Save to PDF function does not work, it freezes and says there is not enough memory as well as a ton of other issues. So I naturally try uninstalling and re-installing. Guess what? It wont except my product key any more, Guess what I can not get another and I can not use my other paid for downloads. I get error message 404 on their website. No longer available. WTF I have also been emailing their customer support and tech support twice a week for a few months now. NOOOOOOO RESPONSE!!! So many wasted hours on a once favorite product.

I have used print shop for years, but this new version isnt my favorite. It is harder to use and some features are really frustrating. It will not make horizontal signs no matter what settings I change. I did buy it because of my upgrade to Windows 10 and it is compatible. I wish my old version would have worked on 10.

Difficult to impossible to import contacts from Print Shop 3.0

This program is hard to navigate...Takes a long time to figure out what to do with projects. Wont let you load what you want for your projects. Microsoft Print Shop (the older version that doesnt work with Windows 10) was much easier to work with.

Very disappointed. I used the The Print Shop Pro Publisher 23.1 for many years and made many projects and newsletters. Since I upgraded computers to Windows 10 I could no longer save my projects in PDF. Therefore I decided to upgrade to The Print Shop Professional 4.0 because they advertise it it as being able to open projects and files from 23.1. This is not entirely true as 4.0 is not able to properly open 23.1 files. The ones that it does try to open become distorted with things re arranged on the pages and the photos are mostly missing. Also you cannot print address labels from the address book. The stretch text feature is missing. etc etc. I am returning and hopefully I can get a refund. I was a sucker once and there wont be a twice. Do not buy this program if you believe it is an upgrade or is compatible with the 23.1 version. this is a major, major downgrade. Sickening.

This is the worst printshop in the world!! I had printshop 23 and LOVED it but bought a new computer with windows10 and had to upgrade printshop. This program will ONLY let you do line spacing 1.0 1.5 or 2.0....gone is the ability to totally customize your text! I HATE THIS product!!!
