> 24 hourThis sucker beats all of those cheap plastic suckers for many reasons but one main reason is due to the silicone tip. I tried to find a piece of silicone to add to my old plastic sucker but after spending more on silicone I realized that it’s better to buy this than try to find a perfect sized tube that is also heat resistance as most tubes are not.

> 24 hourSeems well made and durable. I applied spray on white lithium grease to the inside of the nozzle and cylinder. I did not have any trouble with solder sticking and it was ejected on the first try. Suction was excellent along with the heat resistance. I run my iron at about 550F. Very pleased with my purchase.

> 24 hourI bought this after using several other cheaper/lower quality solder suckers. This is fantastic. The ability to place directly on the hot work makes it easy to use and the strong spring pulls even the highest quantity of solder off.

> 24 hourBest manual solder sucker I have used. If you use this type of tool, it is worth the extra few dollars over the old bulb suckers

> 24 hourWhen this arrived and I saw how tiny it was, I thought theres no way this will do a good job. How wrong I was! I love this thing! The silicone tip lets cover the area tight and suck most of the solder in one shot.

> 24 hourWipe down the inside of the barrel with lithium grease, the thick kind. Removes all the friction between the gasket and barrel and the plunger SNAPS up when the button is pressed.

> 24 hourI purchased this with the intent of using it to desolder switches on mechanical keyboards. Prior to this I had only used those cheapo plastic solder suckers you can buy in three packs. Id use them and toss them out if they showed any wear. This thing worked great. I was reliably able to remove all the solder I needed to on the first attempt. Once I got into the swing it. My only real complaint is that I constantly had to pick bits of solder from the rubber tip. Thinking back to it I could have shortened the length of the rubber tube at the end and been fine. Ill have to give that a try next time. It feels like a quality tool. It has a nice weight to it, the finish is nice, doesnt rattle or anything, there are rubber seals where the pieces screw together so you get a good vacuum when you press the button to release the plunger. Id buy it again.
