Engineer SS-02 Solder Suction Device

Incredible build quality and it works SOOOO much better than the standard solder suckers out there! It is definitely much more expensive, but this is a solder sucker that works EXACTLY how solder suckers should work. It came MUCH earlier than the estimated delivery, too. I would definitely recommend this.

This thing leaves behind pads that look like they were done with a desoldering gun. Good job, guys.

Have you ever held something thats truly skookum in your hands and said to yourself: Oho, ohhhhhh, ohhhohoho, this is some good stuff. No? You will when you buy this. I bought this a replacement for a cheap Chinese sucker that lost the ability to do much beyond make noise, and this is night and day. I work with lead-free solder for health reasons and LF is pretty awful stuff to try to suck out with the heat, move, and suck method. The flex nozzle on this makes that dance a thing of the past. Im kicking myself for wasting the money and time on cheaper alternatives.

Works fantastic. Wish there was more nose tube included in the package. A lower heat makes it last longer but the lead free solder doesnt always give you that option.

I bought it to replace a Kotto solder sucker which, after a very short time, stopped working (the top wouldnt lock down, it kept sliding loose). Works great.

This thing just rules. First time I used it I was like Oh Damn! Then the rest of the day I walked around work showing people my Solder Sucker. Much of which was because I liked saying Solder Sucker. If you care about your soldering work then buy this. Wont let you down.

Great little tool, I love it! Its the only tool you should have for sucking out solder out of through holes or surface mount pads. The high temp silicon tip makes you press tight on the solder joint and soldering iron tip to form a much better contact for greater suction than other competing tools.

Couldnt have done it without this tool.

This is what Ive been looking for. Sturdy, strong vacuum, reliable.

After only a handful of uses, the trigger broke and now fails to hold the pump in the primed position.
