> 3 dayThis is the best solder sucker I have ever used. The flexible silicon tip gets in tight and can sit on the soldering iron without damage. This is the only solder sucker I have seen that will clear through-holes to the point you can get a new component into the hole. Well worth the price!

> 3 dayThis is the best made solder sucker I have ever used. Out of the package the top was bent from shipping damage. Wonder how because trying to bend straight was almost impossible. Very well built. Worked perfectly before I straightened since the bent part didnt affect any part of the travel but still drove me nuts till it was straight. A little spendy compared to the plastic $5 counterparts but performance is absolutely no comparison. The silicone tip allows for a much more conformed suction area and really powerful spring pulls out huge blobs of solder. No plunger guard either which for me is a plus, can just slam it on my leg to charge spring. Just be careful if working on smaller things to not get too close or it will get ya!

> 3 dayThe few bad reviews Ive read must be operator error because this is the best one Ive ever used. When resetting the spring I noticed that if you push it past reset it pushes the solder out the tip so maybe thats where others were going wrong.

> 3 daythis is the best manual hand solder sucker ive ever used. short of a electric vacuum sucker this works. small fits in your hand, yet has the suction to clear the hole.

> 3 dayIve used cheap desoldering pumps for years and years and they all eventually break down. I decided to spend a bit more this time and I was not disappointed: - the tool is of obvious quality. I dont know how long it will last, but definitely far longer than the cheap ones - the suction is noticeably better. thats the kicker, i didnt realize how much better and easier it would make my repairs Thats basically it. Get it. Its worth it.

> 3 dayThis is, hands down, the best solder sucker I have ever used in my 45+ years of playing with molten tin and lead. Follow the directions, clean the solder out as youre going, and you will not be disappointed.

> 3 dayOh my, what an excellent tool this is. It is nice looking too. Top notch engineering- heavy anodized aluminum, very strong spring, o ring sealed nozzle that is easy to remove for cleaning. I find the silicon tip easy to use and effective. The spring is strong enough that its right on the edge of needing two hands to reset the pump. I expect it will soften up a bit as it breaks in. It is well packaged with clear illustrated instructions for use and maintenance. I am not an every day solderer so I wish it came with a little storage sack to keep the extra silicon tubing. The tip uses about 1/4 of tubing and there is about 2 of extra. The directions say the max temp for the tubing is 350C but after a couple of dozen desolders at 450C, the tip shows no signs of wear or discolor. I expect the extra tubing will last a long time- if it doesnt get lost somewhere in my workshop. This solder sucker should last a lifetime with just a little care. Recommend.
