Engineer SS-02 Solder Suction Device

If you are doing a big desolder job then as always use a desoldering gun but for a few things here and there or a fix in the moment nothing compares to this thing as far as solder suckers go. Have used a few of them to do tasks such as desolder an entire keyboards switches and this by far is the best one I have ever used. Take care of it and it will last a long time.

Cheaply made copy of a real product. The red plunger button literally snapped off of the shaft where it narrows after a few months of light use. Buy the real one, this is garbage.

Doesnt work better than any other solder sucker out there. Feels great though, will probably last longer.

Love it! Nothing comes close. Extra tubing was a bonus. Works like a charm. Have bought 2 of these and would buy a third. Incredibly well made. Easy to use, clean and keep in working order.

Hands down the best solder sucker Ive used. Its small and feels very well built, the all-metal construction feels durable and the plunger is smooth and easy to depress. The replaceable silicon tips are extremely nice and it consistently sucks up all the solder in one pull. Having used a number of cheap suckers that quickly lose their precision this is a significant upgrade, if youve ever struggled with not being able to desolder through hole components then I highly recommend trying this guy out.

I cut a section off one tube and finaggled it onto a cheap $12 desolder pump tip to give it better suction. The tube itself has a small diameter so I was afraid it would tear if pushed too hard, but I got it onto a screwdriver and transferred it to the desolder pump and can say that its fairly durable. It didnt melt at 380°C, but the small diameter means that youll have to manually unclog the pump since the lead/tin globs get stuck in the tube
