Engineer SS-02 Solder Suction Device

Well made and works good. Curious if I can buy a spare seals and orings for this???

I consider it very expensive for the quality of the article, terrible quality of the transparent silicone tube, it does not support much heat.

Sucks like no other, the silicone tip lets you get RIGHT on the solder point, the best soldering work I have done was made using this tool.

Just WOW worth every penny

I guess Im just old but I cant use to small size of this sucker. Just not enough to hold on to when working in an amp chassis.

Used it on my keyboard when I was switching out switches. Works really well. Well worth the price.

Most solder-suckers are huge and clumsy. You aim them at the joint, heat it up, mash the clumsy button, and watch while it sucks a quarter of an inch away from the place you need it to be. This sucker is not like that. The body is maybe four inches long, and the plunger, which is in line with the axis, pushes the nozzle toward the work, not away from it, when you push it. I cant give it five stars, because solder keeps getting stuck in the tip. You will have to take it apart several times a session. Still, its worth it.

Solid feeling action. The all metal construction of this resold wrong pump surely will outlast cheaply made alternatives. The nozzle unscrews for cleaning; the inner chamber is large to hold plenty of removed solder. Packaging specifies 2mm ID (inner diameter) silicone tubing heat resistant to 350 degrees Celsius or better. See photos for packaging, contents, and sense of size.
