> 24 hourThis stuff is simply amazing. I had a large amount of rusted shut tools. Soaked them for around 24 hours and they all came out working except for one and it went back in for more time. The other tools and nuts and bolts just had a lot of rust and they all came out looking brand new. What was still on there came off with a steel wool. I highly recommend this and will probably kee a gallon or two stocked on my shelf for future use!

> 24 hourI used this for very rusted old dog crate/kennel doors. I was just going to give them away, that is how bad they were. But soaking them in this stuff took all the rust off and they look brand new. So I was able to sell the crates. I bought more to have it on hand.

> 24 hourThis stuff doesnt work if you coat it on badly rusted surfaces with a paint brush, or even if you soak cloths in it and wrap it around rusted item and leave it for 24 hours. What does work extremely sell is pouring it into a bucket and entirely submerging the rusted object and leaving it for 24 hours. So I dont recommend it for the rusted bolts on your boat trailer wheels, which is what I originally bought it for, but it worked wonders on the garden tools that were badly rusted because my life never cleans them off after use. It just completely cleaned up clippers, trowels, a hammer and other tools.

> 24 hourHonestly wasnt sure how well this was gonna work. I wire brushed one valve cover and the other I didnt. The wire brushed one looked better but Id put them in there either way at this point. Great product. I just need more now to put the bare block in.

> 24 hourI had two bicycles rusted, and instead to buy new ones, which anyway I couldnt find anymore precisely what I was looking for, I started as a project to do something in the pandemic time. In the end, I paid more for materials and parts than buying brand new ones, but I learned something new, and from now, I know how to fix bikes myself. I started to buy one gallon of Evapo-Rust and CLR Pro, and I finished buying another 7 gallons of Evapo-Rust and forget about CLR, which is more toxic and corrosive. Probably the Evapo-Rust The Original Super Safe Pail Rust Remover does not work for someone who needs results right away, I mean in an hour or two, but for me, after 24 hours (or even 12 hours) of leaving bicycle components into the solution, it worked, and I was more than happy being able to restore my bicycles. I am sorry that I did not take pictures before and after, but I am confirming what other people posted that the Evapo-Rust works perfectly.

> 24 hourI had reservations about using this. I am restoring an old motorcycle that has plenty of rust. Y’all, this works. It removed deeply rusted parts without damaging them. I was beyond impressed! A few pro tips: 1. Evapo-rust is reusable. So didn’t discard the liquid after using it unless it’s completely spend. Instead, funnel it back into the original container to prolong use. 2. If you need to remove fuse off of an item that won’t fit on a container, soak towels (I used Scott’s shop towels) in the solution and wrap it around whatever you need to derust. I thought I made a huge mistake because I accidentally left a rust motorcycle part in the solution for far longer than suggested (total of 48 hours) because I forgot I put it in. However, this piece was very rust anyway. Nonetheless, no damage was done and the metal looks great now without discoloration.
