> 3 dayUsed it to clean the rust off of a BBQ. Trouble finding container convenient for soaking rusted items in, this being the rack. Items have to be soaked.

> 3 dayI liked the ease of use on toy train track. Just put your track in a plastic tub and in 12 yours you have clean track. Then store the rest of the solution for use the next time you have a rusty toy.

> 3 dayBought this product to remove rust from a chrome motorcycle part that was showing more rust than chrome. I poured enough to cover the bottom and left it for 24 hours. I covered the pan to prevent evaporation per the instructions. Wish I had taken before and after photos. This stuff really did a great job. When finished I strained the liquid back into the jug. Only lost a pint after the job, and threw it rust into the garbage.

> 3 dayInitially used on heavily-rusted bandsaw parts at temperatures around 55-65 F. Didnt see very good results after 24 hours. Read note about applying at temps above 65 F, brought parts inside where its warmer and 24 hours later - excellent results! Works like a charm when you pay attention to directions! Also able to reuse over and over again. I keep a jar handy with previously-used liquid and it seems to continue working well after 4-5 rounds of soaking multiple parts.

> 3 dayMy basement was flooded during a flood, had tools in the water for many weeks. They were rusty, nasty, and I thought I would have to buy new tools. NO I did not. This stuff works amazingly. heavily rusted items I left in over night, and the next morning were free and clear of rust, and gunk. The wonderful thing is that you can reuse this over and over and over. I did more than 100 tools just from this gallon, and all came out spotless. Then you just pour it back into the container and use again. Best purchase I have ever made.

> 3 dayHad a motorcycle tank that had sat for 2 years with rust build up in it. I filled the tank up with this cleaner and let it sit for 24 hours. Tank looked amazing after use. Great stuff.

> 3 dayThis stuff works really really well, and goes a long way. I was able to treat something like 50 different tools, drill bits, rusty bolts, and even dumbbell sets (bars and plates.) Pour the product in a bucket or $3 plastic litter box, lay your rusty items in, and sit it in the sun. An hour later, remove the item, rinse it, and wipe it down with a gun oil wipe. You can use the same container of product over and over until it turns completely black, and even then, it’s probably still usable, but I just didn’t need it anymore at that point, so I poured it into a dirt patch in my yard that didn’t have anything growing it it anyway. One thing to note - the chemical reaction will turn the previously rusted parts of your items black until you rinse them thoroughly. Doesn’t bother me at all, but if you’re really particular about the color of your uncoated metals, there’s that. (It doesn’t affect chrome or other plated metal finishes that way.) Best of all, this stuff is completely safe to use, which is a big deal when you have curious toddlers. I wouldn’t drink it on purpose, mind you, and the used-up product is now full of oxidized iron which is probably pretty terrible for your liver, but it’s nice to use something that isn’t covered in warnings about how it will render you sterile or mutate you into a tortured superhero.

> 3 dayI got a gallon on Evapo-Rust to help restore an old pinball machine. Many of the metal pieces under the playfield were rusted and I soaked the parks in evapo-rust. To my amazement the rust was dissolved in 30 minutes! Parts with extreme rust I soaked longer. I highly recommend this product. It works as advertised!
