Decided to give Evapo-Rust a try on my pandemic project since it work so well on my F250. Attached before and after pictures. Worked great on the cast iron stove!!! Turned all the rust in recessed areas to black (would never have been able to wire brush them). Really didnt need stove polish afterward, but did it anyway to seal and protect. Worked great on my 2004 F250, even vertically! Used it as a primer before applying fiberglass or rustoleum. Turn heavy rusted areas black here also. Plan to spray entire bottom of my vehicles. Great product, thanks.

Saw a Youtube video on how this cleaned ( moderate rust ) his 1978 Puch Moped and I decided to give it a try. Filled the gas tank with this stuff and let it sit in for about 1 day and a half @ min 65 degrees temp. Removed fuel cockpit and drained it out. Also had to tip the Moped to get the big chunks out through the the gas cap opening. Definitely would use again

This stuff is amazing. I’ve seen no damage to any surface thus far. I’ve gone rid-of-rust crazy! I did my table saw and after an hour the surface came out like new! I also did the t-square blade in picture. I left it half way in over night. Like new!! I LOVE this product!

This stuff is awesome I first bought a much smaller bottle from Harbor Freight but I like it so much that I came here to Amazon to buy the big jug. It does an awesome job on safely removing rust from old hand tools like a hand plane or old hammers and Axes. Some of the other chemical rust remover is to strong and I would be concerned about damaging and wood pieces and old screws & other hardware that can be found on some old tools that someone might be trying to restore. So this Evapo- Rust is great stuff I definitely recommend it.

I use this to remove rust from antique tools. It’s easy and safe to use and it’s reusable. Keep a big funnel with the jug of Evapo-Rust to pour from your working container back into the jug. Evapo-Rust gives a “soft” even look compared to products with phosphoric acid. It’s a completely different chemical process.

This stuff will rip rust right off and smash it in the ground. Your dad have a crappy pair of pliers he favors over brand new stuff and you always end up having to use those crappy, Rusty pliers? Throw those suckers in this for a day or two and they will be like new. Spray some fluid film on them too to create a superior rust barrier.

I found it does convert rust into a protective coating, sometimes with a small bit of scrubbing and several long soaks.. It washes off easily with water, but it is best used for dipping. Nothing has been returned to shiny metal, but maybe I have to do more testing. I am trying now to use it by applying dipped paper towels for objects which cannot be dipped as they suggest. It is reusable.

I was restoring my dads old beach cruiser and the wheels were so rusty, I tried to buy new ones. When I took it them to the bicycle shop they said I had to keep them if I was restoring the bike; you might as well buy a new bike is what they told me. They were completely brown, so I didnt think there was any way to restore them. But I went on Amazon and found this product. I poured into a plastic container lined with a trash bag and soaked the wheels over night. After soaking overnight, they were already about 60% clean. But thenI took some steel wool and dipped into the liquid to remove the rest of the rust. The rest of the rust just melted off. I barely did any scrubbing. I spent about 20 minutes on each wheel and they were completely shiny! This product was amazing. The bicycle wheels look brand new.

wonderfully if you submerge your things. Give them a one or two day bath, and theyre as good as new (at least most of the rust is off).
