> 3 dayI put this into a 2 gallon bucket and just started tossing in all my rusted nuts, bolts, you name it. The rust rinses off like it’s black paint peeling off. It’s crazy good. I’m using it to help restore my classic Mustang. Lots of parts with rust that needs to be removed.

> 3 dayUsed it to clean the rust off of a BBQ. Trouble finding container convenient for soaking rusted items in, this being the rack. Items have to be soaked.

Greater than one weekThis product did what vinegar wouldn’t. Previously I soaked rusty tools in vinegar, then used a pumice bar, then soaked again - over and over. I put those same tools in this stuff, let them sit overnight and those tools were rust free the next day. Amazing! Plus, even if the liquid looks icky it’s still good-reusable-amazing!

08-06-2025Did some research looking for a good rust remover and this works great. Its best if you can place the items into the product and allow to time to have the rust removed. The claim is you can also put it on a rag and cover it with plastic and hold it in place to allow it to work over time but I have not tried that. Everything that Ive placed into the covered small container with this product came out with the rust removed. Ill definitely be buying this again.

Greater than one weekThis stuff works really well. I tried it on some rusty nails that I left out a little too long in the rain and humidity of Florida it literally ate the rust away. Left the nails submerged for 12 hrs. periodically agitating them and the rust just fell off. They still have a bit of a rusty looking color/slighty tarnished but they are free from that flakey rust. For not having to do anything but cover them in the solution and come back half a day later Ill take that any day of the week, zero elbow grease required.

> 3 dayWow I can’t believe this worked this way / I let it sit for 24 hours then wiped it down then took a piece of sandpaper to get to this color but the liquid did most of the work about 98% well worth it and it’s reusable I’ve done 5 ther items since I’ve purchased it —IF YOU READ ALL THE THE INSTRUCTIONS AND GIVE IT THE 24 hours to work you will be glad as well ✔️

> 3 dayDecided to give Evapo-Rust a try on my pandemic project since it work so well on my F250. Attached before and after pictures. Worked great on the cast iron stove!!! Turned all the rust in recessed areas to black (would never have been able to wire brush them). Really didnt need stove polish afterward, but did it anyway to seal and protect. Worked great on my 2004 F250, even vertically! Used it as a primer before applying fiberglass or rustoleum. Turn heavy rusted areas black here also. Plan to spray entire bottom of my vehicles. Great product, thanks.

> 3 dayIn restoring motorcycles I drop all the nuts and bolts and everything in it. Totally cleans them up. More importantly it will de-rust a gas tank and its non-toxic. Its not particularly cheap but Ive not found anything else thats close to working.
