Greater than one weekThis stuff is the bomb! Re-usable until it isnt. I know, that sounds weird. I had a 3.5 gallon bucket that lasted for about 5 years and got many, many, uses out of it. Eventually the liquid becomes saturated with particulates from items that were not necessarily cleaned well. This material eventually builds up in the solution. Because of the way it works, chemical chelation, I imagine the solution eventually absorbs enough oxidized iron that it will stop working. When it no longer works, the product is bio-safe so it may be dumped down the drain (so long as it is not full of other automotive chemicals such as anti-freeze, oil, etc.). Rinse out the 3.5 gallon bucket and refill with fresh product from the 1 gallon jugs. Just make sure you clean as much gunk, grease, oil, residue, etc. off your piece before you soak it. This will keep your solution usable for a LONG time.

> 3 dayThis product removes rust from anything that you can soak in it. Severe rust will require prolonged soaking, a day or three, with an occasional scrubbing. It is pH neutral, not poisonous and can be reused extensively. It does not leave work prone to flash rusting after treatment and is nearly ideal. It will change the color of bare steel and iron, but in a good way. Steel takes on an antique browned look and cast iron is blackened. Very highly recommended. It is un-cheap but can be used over and over again. One of the few 5-star reviews I give.

> 3 dayThis product is amazing and Ive used it on multiple things. I let this lock and key soak for 12 hours and I cleaned it off with some clean water and a toothbrush. The key is still stuck but it still makes a great display piece.

Greater than one weekI bought this to remove rust from our 3 year old LG dishwasher racks (NOTE: never buy LG appliances) because they cost $200 each to replace and the dishwasher cost $500ish. This removed the rust in a few hours and after cutting back the factory coating a bit and finding no more rust I used something called uber goop to coat the bare metal of the rack. So far no re-occurrences of rust in those areas. Had a few more spots show up in other places on the racks and I treated those with Evapo-Rust as well. It works, and it wont poison the world we live in either. A Win Win purchase in my book!

> 3 dayMy husband had a very old rusty chain saw chain that other companies tried soaking for weeks to clean and for the chain links to move freely. In a day this cleaned and chain was able to move freely. It had amazing results. Wish we would have taken a before and after picture. hands down the best cleaner ever. Oh and best yet no scrubbing just soaked it off.

> 3 dayThis is hands-down, the best rust removal product I have ever used. Super easy to use. Just dump in a pail and throw rusty tools in there. I like to dig in the dirt and I’m infamous about leaving tools out and not finding them until the following spring, I have thrown away so many tools in the past because there was just no saving them. So I thought I would give this product a try and it is a miracle! I’m not kidding. After 30 minutes the parts that were immersed came out clean. The only thing I would say is I’m going to buy another gallon because I want it to completely cover. I have to turn my tools over for another 30 minutes with just 1 gallon. This product is a wonder!!!!!

> 3 dayThis is my go-to juice for cleaning parts and removing rust. I let parts soak for ~24 hours, and nothing other than washing and drying is necessary. Wish I had the space for a tub for larger parts.
