> 24 hourI bought this for one of my male leopard gecko and he loves it! Hes only 6 months old so hes not fully grown so its a little big for him now but itll be perfect when hes full grown. Very sturdy, I use as a wet hide for him keep humidity for longer the other hides in the past!

> 24 hourI got a small because based on other reviews it seemed like a decent size. So I ordered a small for my still very shy snake who didn’t have a closed off hide like this. She’s a baby cornsnake and just barley fits in it but seems to LOVE it. I’ll have to upgrade her to a large or find on specifically for snakes soon though with sucks because like I said. I thought it would be bigger and she will outgrow it in no time

> 24 hourVery nice hide, but the medium was too small for my leopard gecko. I think he may be considered a giant; he is 10 inches long and not quite a year old. He was interested, but apparently thought the hole was too small to crawl through (which it probably was), so I am returning and exchanging for a large. The resin this is made out of seems like it will conduct heat from a heat mat quite well, so I am looking forward to seeing how my boy likes the large one as a moist hide!

> 24 hourI bought this for my leopard geckos wet/cold hide and its been working great for the past year. I love that you can just pick up the top to remove it and not have to worry about anything snapping in place or breaking. Its super heavy, so you should be careful when placing it in flimsier enclosures. The material makes it super easy to clean and it holds moisture on a paper towel for around a day. Its the perfect size for him to curl up in, too. Ill be honest -- and this is just personal taste -- its a little ugly, but it does the job just fine.

> 24 hourIt’s cute but way too small for any reptile I can think of unless it’s a baby. Order a larger one.

> 24 hourPurchased the medium sized listed. This is used as the mid-hide in my leopard geckos vivarium. It isnt too big for a baby (~5 inches long) and has enough room for him to grow. He enjoys climbing on top and I am please being able to lift the top when needed. In the event he outgrows this size, I will definitely purchase the larger one. Great buy.

> 24 hourMy leopard gecko loves it! He splits his time between this hide, that I’m using as a moist hide, and the hide on the warm side of his tank. I moved his mealworm dish closer so he’d have easier access to it while he’s in here lol. I bought the large size one and for an adult male leopard gecko it’s perfect! It fits nicely in a 20 long but it might be a little snug in anything smaller.

> 24 hourGreat hide for a Leopard Gecko as stated by everyone else. I was wondering how this compares to the Zoo Med hide. So, I purchased both. Here is what I think: The Medium Zoo Med cave is a bit larger than the medium Exo Terra cave and just a bit smaller than the large Exo Terra if anyone was wondering. For an adult gecko, the medium Zoo Med is great (or the large), but with ExoTerra you might want to go with the large size. The Exo Terra is more of a resin material, while the Zoo Med is more like ceramic. There can be some sharp edges on the inside lip of the Exo Terra that a little sand paper fixes right up, though I doubt the edges are an issue anyway. Hole placement: I used to make hides from poly foam, and I found that LGs like hides where they climb down into the hide. The Zoo Med hide hole placement is like that - the gecko climbs down into the hide. Not a big deal and not a deal breaker, but the Exo Terra hide has the hole on the side down low. Just an observation, and the gecko will likely care less anyway. So that is some info for you. I have both in my adult geckos cage. Cant go wrong with either. This hide style is better than any half-log, etc. My advice is to lay this partially over the heat, with about 1/4 to 1/3 of it over a non-heated area. This way the gecko can thermo-regulate inside the cave without having to choose either an all-warm cave or an all-cold cave.
