Exo Terra Gecko Cave for Reptiles and Amphibians, Reptile Hideout, Medium, PT2865

I recently upgraded my leopard geckos terrarium and this has made for the perfect humid hide. There are a lot of questions/comments about size....if you have an adult leopard gecko, get the large. This has been one of my favorite purchases for my leo and she loves it too!

He loves it! I use it as a moist hide with some paper towels to hold moisture. Just check daily to keep them moist and replace them weekly. Easy to clean with smooth surfaces inside and fits great in my 20-long. I place it about halfway onto the warmer side so it stays about 85 inside. He loves to just hang out in his cave with his head sticking out so he can see whats happening. He tries to climb it but its smooth and hes a lousy climber. No sharp edges or weird smell. I debated the large or medium, but the large is the perfect size for my guy.

I bought this for my leopard geckos wet/cold hide and its been working great for the past year. I love that you can just pick up the top to remove it and not have to worry about anything snapping in place or breaking. Its super heavy, so you should be careful when placing it in flimsier enclosures. The material makes it super easy to clean and it holds moisture on a paper towel for around a day. Its the perfect size for him to curl up in, too. Ill be honest -- and this is just personal taste -- its a little ugly, but it does the job just fine.

The large hide is perfect as a moist hide for our large (90g) leopard gecko. I was afraid the opening would be tight but there is plenty of room and shes a big girl. Plenty of room inside allows her to stand up and turn around in it very comfortably. A damp paper towel in the bottom makes this the perfect moist hide and she spends her days snuggled up in here. Highly reccomend!

Easy to clean, not my leopard geckos normal cave. Use it specifically as a moist hide. I line the bottom with a moist paper towel and he uses it during shedding time for an easier shed.

I bought two of these to use as moist hides for my leopard geckos, and it works like a charm! I recently moved them to bigger 20 gallon tanks and needed something to help fill in some of the space. I previously used a Mason Jar with a wet washcloth, but wanted something more natural looking for the expensive tanks I bought. I still use the wet washcloth method, keeping it on the warm side of the tank, and it works wonderfully!
