No sharp edges, smooth on the inside and I’d say it looks the same if not better than in photos. Size large is ideal for adult leopard geckos, mine seems to like it

I bought this product in the large size for my one sub adult Leopard gecko she just loves this product i used aquarium silicone to plug the holes used for packaging that way no substrate or moisture would fall out and make a mess in my terrarium. i put eco earth loose coconut fiber in the bottom mixed with a little sphagnum moss to make a moist hide to help with shedding. it has worked great for aiding in her shedding process not one bad shed yet. the most interesting thing is that she actuall moved and dug in the eco earth forming her a warm spot on one side and a cooler spot on the other side so the internal temperature gradiant is all animal made which ranges from high 80s to mid 70s it was awesome watching this process take place, so i just spray the substrate down once a day and she loves it. the best product to make a natural looking moist hide i could find. this product is well made can easily fit at least two adult leos in my opinion. it is heavy which also allows your animals to climb on top of it with out it moving. my leo actually likes me to put her mealworms on top one at a time and she climbs up there and snatches them up.

This is a great hide for a small lizard. it is sturdy, easy to clean, and it looks great in the tank. I used this for a leopard gecko but she quickly outgrew it. I had to switch her over to the next size up before long. I would recommend the next size up for an adult leopard gecko or anything larger than that.

I have two leopard geckos who absolutely love their new hides, didn’t even haven them in the tank more than 10 minutes because they each went into them. My geckos are in two separate tanks and so I got each of them a medium and they seem to have plenty of room. If your gecko is on the larger side, I would recommend getting a large as the hole might be too small for them to get through easily

I was nervous that my giant leopard gecko wouldnt fit but when it arrived it worked perfectly. Plenty of room for moss and a small lip on the bottom half that keeps water refills for the moss from dripping over into the tank. My baby took a bit to check it out and go in but hes spent a large portion of his time in it since. I would definitely purchase again if I get another gecko. <3

My leopard gecko absolutely loves this hide, and I do too (so easy to maintain!). The only thing I will say is that the large was actually too big for my little lady (she is full grown and about 48g), and I had to order a medium in order for her to use it! The medium is the PERFECT size for her, and she still has a ton of room to move around and sleep. If you have a juvenile or smaller gecko, the large will definitely be too big! Other than that, we love it!

purchased large cave as a moist hide for adult leopard gecko, she ignored it for the first week now I cant get her out of it. Only complaint would be that the packaging left 2 holes in the bottom, not a big deal (the bottom got covered in substrate anyway). definitely recommend!

The pictures I seen I couldnt tell how big this would be. I ordered the large one and my leopard gecko is only 5 months old. This thing is huge. Its amazing. Great amount of space. We are going to add the eco earth inside and still have plenty of room. Hes a little skeptical with it for now as you can see in picture staring at it in his log. Its new so it will take him a few days. Design is great, space is great, very sturdy. Although definitely would recommend to have at least 20 long tank for the large cave. It was triple wrapped in bubble wrap so nothing was chipped like others received.

Im someone who absolutely hates DIY, so something as simple as cutting a hole in tupperware is still to annoying of a task for me, so I bought this cave to use as a moist hide for my Leo. She is relatively large, and upon opening the package, I at first thought it would be too small for her to fit in. She actually fit perfectly and just had a great shed. She spends most of her time in here and the hide keeps the paper towel moist for 2-3 days at a time. Would highly recommend.

Hello! I purchased the large and medium. Just to truly compare sizes. And the large is really the only one that could fit my geckos. I have a large male, and a smaller female. I thought the smaller female would be able to fit in the medium. But unfortunately that is not the case. I ended up purchasing Zoo Meds cave in a medium. And that one fit my female perfectly. Ive attached pictures of the sizes. And also a picture of the female one in the medium cave with out the top. She went into the cave, and then started circling inside without ever laying down. So I opened the top to let her out. I think it was too cramped for her to settle down.
