An excellent story and excellent cast as well. This movie is excellent it will make laugh cry and think. To me we all Idgie in our lives. Wow

AGAIN GOOD TO COME BACK TO

I would actually rate this film 4-1/2 stars...just shy of 5 Stars...its THAT GOOD! Jon Avnets adaption of the Fannie Flagg novella is exceptional to say the least. From the set design, to the locations, to the casting, acting, directiing, cinematography, etc. - this film couldnt have been made better in my opinion. It elicits warm feelings of a simpler time and does it as well as any movie has before or since.
