I love this movie!

This is a great movie. What a story it tells.

I watched this over and over. I really liked it in a sorted sort of way? And it took me a while to see the relationship between the two women that was more than just friends. I also was shocked by the barbequing of Frank Bennett, Ruth Jamisons Klu Kluxing, wife beating husband. I read the Kindle book after seeing the film version and there is little similarity. They left out most of the best parts. The book is 415 pages and so detailed. Fanny is a wonderful writer but somewhat sinister in this one. Most of the good humor was felt out of the film with some violence left in. The death of Idgies brother Buddy at the very beginning, using a train, was so sad. It turned Idgie into a masculine woman so that she never married and ended up felling in love with Ruth, a family friend.

I love this movie. It is one of my all time favorites. Im so happy to have it on DVD now and with the added bonus features. So glad I finally bought this!

Classic movie....wonderful!

I had watched this movie a long time ago and loved it so much, that watched it over a couple of times. Now, years after, I watched it again, with new eyes and it is even better than before. This is a cinematographic jewel that will stay with you a long time. I recommend it, knowing that if you love a good story that will fulfill your expectations and then some, then this movie is for you.

I got this movie for my mom on Mothers Day, and she loved it. I have watched it many times over and enjoy it every time. Thanks!

An epic movie, great acting and a great plot. Its one of my top movies and I can watch it time and time again, I never tire of it. It has dated fantastically well and would make a great addition to a DVD collection - especially for the ladies. Arrived in perfect condition and within the delivery timescale.
