I have always liked this movie. A timeless tale. I just prefer not to hear rude, unnecessary words. A story can be told without disrespecting Gods name. But the characters here do not have that respect. The relationships between the women are heartfelt, loyal and lovely. Killing someone and cooking them and hitting cars in revenge are certainly not good choices or a Pastor lying. This story, I believe is so beloved due to the way an older woman encourages Kathy Bates character to be herself. Then the character of Ruth is precious. Loves everyone and shows unconditional love to Idgy. The respect and love and concern they both show to so many people, colored and otherwise is my favorite part. This movie can be sad with the deaths and Ruths son losing his arm but overall it is a good movie. Not a family movie with the language and bloody scenes and abuse scenes but a good movie for ladys. We understand these issues. Enjoy!!!

Fried Green Tomatoes, is a great old movie, in which it features woman working outside the home and the problems which women deal with every day. all of the actress,s are perfect for the roels that they play in this movie.the movie provides, respect and bravery between the woman, plus the protection that is provied by the actresse,s cathy bates, Jessica tandy, who played niney in the move does not come any better , and ruth that part was just wounder if u want a real tear jeker and just a chick flick, this is the movie to see. it is 100% pure entertainment and it just gets u staight in your heart. i absloutley love the movie and highly recommend this great movie. actually i recommand this movie for all adults and teenagers. I was never able to watch this and Im not sure why I wasnt able to watch it but it wouldnt come up and Ive never had problems before so I dont know if its a good movie or not
