Fried Green Tomatoes

Whats genius about this movie is it isnt over the top. Its basically like real life, friendship, love, death and illness, ignorance, memories, and being loyal. It is a very sad movie though, but there were so many moving parts that made you cry or just warmed your heart. The only thing I was ever confused about was the end because they pretty much left it up to the audience to figure it out. Was Miss Thredgood idgie? It would make sense since she had photos of idgie and ruth, and knew every detail about their adventures and friendship. But at the beginning, Miss Thredgood said she married idgies brother Cleo, and was practially adopted by the thredgood family. That contradicts actually being idgie. Or did she just say idgie was alive, so that she could keep her memory alive, because before she told Evylen to go to the grave, she said all these people will live, as long as you remember them Well anyway, Ive watched Fried Green Tomatoes for years, and its funny, and sad, and heart-warming. One of those dramas you never get sick of watching. Its also thought provoking. Its a little reminder to not take things for granted.

We all love this movie where I work we have kids and I play it for them once in a while and they are glued to the television on that one it is a wonderful movie I have two I like it so much I keep one at work and keep one at home

5 stars all the way for mary stuart masterson who gives a performance like no other actress ever can, standing up to the klan, ruths abusive husband and a charge of murder in a time when a womans place was considered the kitchen. hooray for her fierce independent bravery and spunk. she was the movie in my opinion.

This movie was a heart warming, hilarious, and overall amazing movie that I loved to watch. This movie has so many qualities to give and is so ammusing to watch. I would completely recommend this movie or book to anyone who is looking for a good movie to watch. I would also recommend it to anyone who is doing a book report.
