Awesome movie about friends

This movie does not disappoint. Based on the book by Fannie Flagg, the characters come to life in ways that are both touching and amusing. The casting is superb and no one actor takes the stage over the others. A solid ensemble start to finish. Perfect segues from the 1980s to the 1930s and back again. Terrific.

Good movie, well acted with a good storyline...

The price was good… Too good to be true. There were scratches galore all over the bottom of the DVD and would not play at all.

Fannie Flags interesting novel gets a gallon of gloss in this very Hollywood movie clearly created with a female audience in mind. The result is a well performed but somewhat uneasy mixture of sentiment, comedy and soap opera.
