Fried Green Tomatoes

I needed a movie about possible pyschological disorders for school, so this worked great even though my group decided not to do this movie.

I stumbled across this when channel flicking one night and was very pleased I did! Cathy Bates gives another great performance in this intriguing tale. Lovely story with both laughter and sadness, which flickers between present and future. Overall a very good movie for all ages.

I missed this movie when it came out because I was serving in the military. I am now in my 50s and understand why people really enjoyed this movie. Whether you are straight or not, a mother or not, from the South or not, you will enjoy this tender-hearted movie with a wonderful cast.

A classic.

1930s lesbians cannibalize a domestic abuser, while a middle aged woman hits a car and goes through menopause with a chatty old lady. Great performances and there are bees.
