Einer meiner absoluten Lieblingsfilme! Er erzählt die Geschichte von Idgie und Ruth, die ein Leben lang füreinander da sind. Die Atmosphäre im Film ist geprägt von Menschlichkeit und Herzenswärme. Einfach ein schöner Film zum Mitlachen und Mitweinen.

Wonderful movie! Love it!

The movie is a bittersweet remembrance and an awakening, beautifully pictured and well acted. It looked and felt the same to me twenty-some years on, but I wonder if the characters motivations and thought processes connect to people who grew up connected to cell phones. Not an important curiosity, but one that came to mind looking at the note on Ruths grave.

Ive watched this movie countless times and it never grows old. Beautiful stories woven together emphasizing love, understanding, and friendship. Wonderfully performed by the whole cast. Some deep issues involving death, abuse, and loss, but nothing so heavy-handed that kids couldnt watch it.

A Christmas wish for my Sister and she absolutely loves the movie!

My grandmother and I used to watch this movie when I was a kid... on VHS. lol! Since she passed away, Id been trying to find a dvd version for my own collection. This was the only place I could find it for a decent price!! (not even Walmart carried it smh)
