> 3 dayI used these sensors to control sensor blinding by strong afternoon sun. The original sensors were installed 22 years ago. These new units were easy to install, and when installed correctly, eliminated blinding of the Infrared beam. Our Arizona sun tends to overpower the IR beam.

> 3 dayNOT COMPATIBLE with 1994 Genie door Complete lack of documentation regarding compatibility with past doors. Good luck finding replacement beams for older doors. Also, good luck finding identification markings on older openers. If you are lucky you might find a sticker with a manufacture date.

> 3 dayExtremely easy to install. If you have a Genie opener, the bracket location will be the same as your old one. Just unscrew and screw in your new brackets that come with the kit. Only thing that was moderately hard was pulling the sensor from the bracket. But just use force, it wont break. It makes it easier to install the bracket first.
