> 3 dayI was a little worried that it wouldn’t work. I have two (double wires) which cross and combine with each other one one side, and on the other, one (double) wire. Our old ones wouldn’t close if it was sunny. These are working well so far. No problems. I would recommend placing the sensors low-six inches or so from the ground. I placed them 24 in from the ground initially and then reconsidered. I would never want the door closing on a child, cat, small dog.

> 3 dayPerfect fit and fixed my issue. Door would not go down as one of my old sensors was defective and kept blinking. Simply swapped out the sensors with these new ones and everything works perfectly.

> 3 dayThis newer design has a recessed eye that helps blocks sunlight from hitting the sensor, and most likely gives a more powerful signal. I also moved both sensors back 6 inches to block light. Install was easy.

12-04-2025I received the product within a few days. I was very unhappy that only the sensors themselves came. I was led to believe that it was a full installation kit including the sensors, brackets and wire. The buyer is misled to believe this. The sensors did work but I still have yet to purchase the brackets and wire to properly install the safety beam sensors.

> 3 dayI prefer the overall design change here from the older square style - easier to avoid running into day to day. I also very much like the much brighter lights on these new fixtures. It is much easier to insure alignment even on a bright sunny day with the door up. My originals had stopped working periodically requiring realignment. These installed in ten minutes and not a hiccup since.

> 3 dayMy garage door was working, so I called a garage door repair company. They quoted me a price of $350 to repair my garage door. I ordered the replacement kit for less than $30, removed four screws and replaced. My garage door now works perfectly.

> 3 dayI bought these as replacements for my older model sensors. They work as advertised.
