> 3 dayHave an old G2500 that we needed to hold the wall button to get it to go down. The remote would only open the door, not close it. The old square sender/receiver with the plug in wires was bad and that system gives no feedback. It had a wire pair coming from the unit to a jack on the transmitter and another wire pair from a second jack on the transmitter over the door to a jack on the receiver. Since I had voltage at each of the old units, I just cut the plugs off at the sender/receiver units and secured both wire pairs to the single terminal pair on the transmitter (instead of running a new wire to the power unit like it shows in the instructions since my power unit has a plug I would have had to splice in to and not screw terminals). I just took off the old brackets and eyeballed the new ones. Maybe I got lucky but there was no aiming adjustment involve. Worked like a charm as soon as I plugged the power unit back in.

Greater than one weekWorked great for our Overhead Door garage system. Previous owners has broken the two sensors on one door and we finally replaced. Easy install and works perfectly with the electric opener (which we also use with the MyQ system).

> 3 dayOld sensors had failed and these were a simple replacement. Old sensors disconnected and removed, new sensors wired in (just two wires) and immediately my garage door is working again. The alignment was super simple thanks to matching brackets. whole job took 5 minutes

> 3 dayWith the old kit, the doors refused to close if the sun was out. Replacing them with these is as easy as it says (i re-used the existing wiring) and the most difficult thing was bending down to screw the new sensors into the same holes. I am very happy

> 3 dayWe had a 1995-era Genie Garage door system and my house is south facing, so naturally, we have issues with Sunlight affecting our old Safety sensors. I did a lot of fixes that were short term like the Toilet paper roll trick or blinders and it still did not help on a sunny day. These lights solved the issue because I believe its operating on Lasers vs. Infrared. Very happy with this product.
