Genie GSTB-R STB-BL Replacement Safety Beams, Black, 2 Pack, Black, one size (GSTB-R)

My garage door wouldn’t close anymore. After some research online it appeared to be an issue with the sensors so I tried these. All I had to do was swap out these with the old, use all the existing wires and it worked again without any issues! Such an easy fix!!

These arrived fast, they were very easy to install . They replaced the original door sensors. I was able to unattach the old ones, attach these using the existing wires and the door worked flawlessly on the first test.

I like the product or I wouldnt of given a good rating. I dont know what else to say the product is what I wanted. How many word do you want I will just not rate anything if I have to write a book about each item.

The part arrived timely. It was well-packaged. It had installation instructions and mounting screws. No wire, I used the old wire, if you need to run wire from the opener it is just simple door bell wire. Attach one wire to each screw. It has screws that you can attach the wires to, unlike my old square sensors which required little clips (NO LONGER MADE BY THE WAY). Attach one wire to each clip. Install the sensors six inches above the floor, use the old holes if you are replacing old sensors. Play with it a little to make sure the lights are correctly aligned. Wave your hand in front of the sensor to break the beam and it will stop and reverse the down motion of the door. Good product. Five stars might be premature as I just installed it today, but it is the right part for a Genie 1/2 HP Screw Drive (DONT KNOW MY MODEL NUMBER). It is supposed to work for any Genie opener.

Replaced old garage beam. Small and easy to replace.

The square sensors as shown in the image are not what I received. Instead I got the more tubular kind. More importantly they work exactly like the old sensors and so installation was a snap. Mine came with the mounting brackets which was important since the existing bracket is incompatible. After replacing only the green side it was working but I went ahead and replaced both and now everything works great. Since it seems different people are receiving different things, my kit was fulfilled by North Shore Commercial Door.

Easy to install, arrived as promised

These were easy to install and once installed, worked perfectly. No issues whatsoever with these. Although these safety beams are a new design, they work well with my older Genie garage door opener. I had no problems whatsoever with the delivery (fast - arrived in 2 days) or with the ordering (i.e., specs, pricing, etc.).
