> 24 hourThe package shows a well packed solid block of bronze wool. In actuallity the consistancy is that of cotton candy and will not last even a fraction of the amount of work to do. I expected the pads to have the consistancy of an SOS or Brillow pad. Not even close. Not a good value for the money.

> 24 hourThis wool works well on rusted chrome, especially with some 3m chrome paste. It doesnt scratch like some steel wool can. Only negative is that it it gets used up pretty fast and isnt cheap.

> 24 hourthis is good stuff but I should have bought a bit coarser wool. But this is ok.

> 24 hourUse this on some of the metal jewelry that I make. Its very fine and works well, but makes quite a mess so use it outside or over something to collect the fine particles that result. A respirator or dust collector will protect your lungs.

> 24 hourI bot this bronze wool because I was concerned that the steel wool would discolor some wood projects when using water based products over it due to risk for rust with flecks of the steel. This bronze wool did help with that but it seemed to fall apart quite easily and not last very long. I may try another brand next time I need some.

> 24 hourGreat for guitar frets. They do not shed and crumble or pack down densely. 1 pad lasts longer than I expected. Especially compared to steel. I found the natural oxidation of guitar strings was minimized. Less evident on my fingers. Not cheap in price but not cheap in performance. Overall I am pleased.

> 24 hourI use this to stuff wire access holes to keep mice out. They hate the stuff and does not rust. Steel wool rusts and will easily catch on fire. This is stable and will not rust.
