> 3 dayWorks OK, but it falls apart like crazy. Unfortunately it is necessary to use this when steel would be too harsh.

> 3 dayWorks great for cleaning old tarnished chrome back to a showroom shine! Wish it would last a little longer as it disintegrates in you hand if you are really working with it. Its a little messy but the best option by far,!

> 3 dayThis is good quality bronze wool. It has some advantages over fine steel wool: Less inclined to splinter, more durable, and does not rust. I bought it for cleaning the inside of my 120-gallon glass turtle tank, figuring the bronze would be less inclined to scratch the glass. (Not that steel would scratch the glass, but bronze is softer in that respect.) It works very well for that task. Ive gotten about half of the inside of the tank free of algae with just one small puff of bronze wool. So I expect my supply to last a very long time unless I take on a big wood refinishing product. The pricing was strange. I was able to save money by buying multiple small packages. Buyer beware.

> 3 dayI use these for tough spots with my gun cleaning kit. The bronze works better than steel wool and this is a fine (not medium, heavy duty) bronze. Im not sure about copper content but I always wear gloves and the solvent and this wool produces a blue/green residue. It wipes off easily. I didnt have the same problem with a product purchased at a local indpt. store.

> 3 dayBetter than steel wool since it doesnt rust or leave rust marks. So any outdoor place can be used. The mice wont eat through it. This is my third order as Ive used it at the cabin and on the RV. Good for sailboats also. Great stuff!

> 3 dayI bought this to clean household windows because I noticed that the professionals do use 0000 steel wool, Not bronze wool but steel. However Im not sure what kind (brand) they use but all the seel I have used have rusted within one hour so I switched to this bronze. The Pros told me NOT to push (rub) too hard or you can leave scratches. I finished my parents house and I did notice some scratches however I am not sure if it was me or someone else. The house is 30 years old. My advice is to test a window or two and not the main living room windows, first. This product did not specifically say that its #0000. This troubles me a bit. I would recommend it but not guarantee against any or all scratches. I would call a pro, Im going to, and find out what exactly they use before I buy any more wool.
