Greater than one weekThe best for polishing chrome!

crazy finger magic
Greater than one weekGreat for guitar frets. They do not shed and crumble or pack down densely. 1 pad lasts longer than I expected. Especially compared to steel. I found the natural oxidation of guitar strings was minimized. Less evident on my fingers. Not cheap in price but not cheap in performance. Overall I am pleased.

> 3 dayThis is good quality bronze wool. It has some advantages over fine steel wool: Less inclined to splinter, more durable, and does not rust. I bought it for cleaning the inside of my 120-gallon glass turtle tank, figuring the bronze would be less inclined to scratch the glass. (Not that steel would scratch the glass, but bronze is softer in that respect.) It works very well for that task. Ive gotten about half of the inside of the tank free of algae with just one small puff of bronze wool. So I expect my supply to last a very long time unless I take on a big wood refinishing product. The pricing was strange. I was able to save money by buying multiple small packages. Buyer beware.

11-06-2025The pads are thin and break up easily. The last time I bought bronze wool it was well worth the money as the pads were hefty and really lasted. I used one pad up really quickly oil buffing a door handle and thumb latch. The finished product is awesome so my idea an technique were fine but the disintegrating pad and fine bronze particles were kind of a pain but wiped up easily. The other two I used up rapidly cleaning ceramic tiles. Again the tiles are great. But the pads were gone very fast.

> 3 dayUse this in place of steel wool, and enjoy not having AS MUCH dusting. The best part, is using this on glass to remove light water spotting. Light pressure, a bit of good glass cleaner, and some elbow grease leaves a brilliant gloss on glass and really removes the crap left there by your neighbors crappy sprinkler system. I made the move to bronze, because steel wool if not cleaned off completely will eventually cause rust spots to appear. Go to a car lot and look around the windows on used cars that have white/silver paint, you see those little rust specks? Thats from steel wool when they detail the car. This doesnt leave those behind.

Greater than one weekUse this on some of the metal jewelry that I make. Its very fine and works well, but makes quite a mess so use it outside or over something to collect the fine particles that result. A respirator or dust collector will protect your lungs.
