> 3 dayWhile this is considered a marine product, it was recommended to me for keeping rats out of holes. It may be too soon to see its effectiveness, as its only been in my grill for a short time. The vote is still out.

> 3 dayLove this stuff! Whether for woodworking or mechanic jobs--this stuff is almost a necessity in my shop. Far superior to steel wool for numerous reasons! Less lint, doesnt rust, doesnt scratch steel, isnt oily, etc.

> 3 dayBought this because I have an old 22 cal. revolver that someone gave me years ago that I had just tossed in a drawer....Found it one day, and it was all covered with surface rust...Not the deep pitting kind, just heavy outside rust. Got a lot of advise on how to get the rust off, but because of expense, I decided to do the job myself......All of the steel wool I have ever used was a royal pain in the butt...fine metal shavings everywhere, doesnt hold up, and of course the horrible rust it gets after you leave it in your tool box. Got this item and it was just what I needed...Took my time rubbing the metal parts of the revolver, and didnt get any shavings or metal dust as I would have with the steel wool.....It also seems to hold up better that the steel version......When I was done, the revolver looked like a different weapon......All the rust gone, and no metal residue left on it and inside the mechanism. Looked around everywhere to try to purchase it locally (wanted it in a hurry), but couldnt find it....In conclusion, there is no comaprison between this Bronze Wool, and regular steel wool. I live in Florida near the water, and EVERYTHING made of metal rusts....When I would use regular steel wool on anything, it left a mess and I would have to throw it away afterwards, because if it got wet it would turn into a blob of rust....Not with this bronze wool. It is expensive, but more than worth the price.....I can actually rinse it off from use, and it can be used again....In the long run, the cost is comparable because you arent throwing the pad out after every use. My only complaint is that I couldnt get different sizes. Oh, and by the way, you dont get the little metal slivers in your fingers like you get with the steel wool.

> 3 dayI use Bronze wool when cleaning antique or collectible items. It is abrasive enough to clean and polish, but not course like Steel Wool, so it does not easily scratch an item or remove a plated finish.

> 3 dayBetter than steel wool since it doesnt rust or leave rust marks. So any outdoor place can be used. The mice wont eat through it. This is my third order as Ive used it at the cabin and on the RV. Good for sailboats also. Great stuff!
