> 24 hourA very sturdy fan with heavy circular base compared to a previous flimsy fan we owned. Fairly easy to assemble but the adjustable stand was difficult to extend at first but eventually worked. The remote works perfectly. Its quiet even with the double blades. No complaints so far and highly recommend.

> 24 hourUpdate: It has been over a year now (I bought a black one in March 2019) and the fan is still running perfect! The lows are still calm/quiet and high is what it should be. I really love that the low on this fan is fairly quiet (it has not gotten louder or started rattling on any speed over time like some fans I’ve had) and the air feels great. I can feel it on low across the room about 8 feet away (haven’t used it further away than that due to space). We don’t seem to use the remote much so I can’t give thoughts on it. At the time I need a new fan for my living room and have been debating getting a more expensive one like Rowenta but after seeing that the Honeywell one we have had for over a year is running great and easy to clean as well as cost much less than Rowenta, I’ll be getting another Honeywell double blade. I’d recommend it! So far so good. Seems pretty durable, noise levels are great, and most of all I love that I’ll be able to disassemble it to be cleaned unlike other fans and box fans. I know at some point this fan will have issues as they all do but it’s great for what I wanted! Oh and the remote is pretty neat. There’s multiple settings, you can have it oscillate, there are 3 speeds, there’s another feature that I believe changes the air flow (still figuring this one out it’s kind of strange to me, I usually just have it on the normal constant fan setting which is the button that turns it off as well when you press it a certain amount of times), and lastly this fan also has timer settings.

> 24 hourAbout the airflow, you will notice the difference and appreciate it, has quiet air sounds. Its rather heavy. kids under 10 years old, and elderly people over 70 years old, may have trouble moving the fan. It would have to be a very large breed dog to knock this over. Lights up! very pretty blue lights on the fan, and the remote is a Plus. Fan remotes are just as important as tv remotes in some homes.

> 24 hourMy Duracraft fan was a gift for my wife and I when we we got married. over 20 years later it finally started to die. We live in a ridiculously hot state (AZ) and ran it every night for a decade, then the next decade I ran it in the window of our dining room into my office to save money on A/C costs. I didnt think anything could replace this fan... so I started looking for another Duracraft pedestal fan... but they no longer exist. Honeywell apparently bought duracraft and now make a similar pedestal fan but even better. I hope this fan stands the test of time as well! It is fairly quiet even thought I run it on high most of the day. The remote is amazing! No more reaching into the window and turning off the fan by hand.

> 24 hourUsed it from January 2019. Still going. I guess good thing I reviewed this now, out of boredom at night. Within this past year, it has been getting stuck. It would oscillate, but wont do the full motion. It would get stuck 1/3 of the way to the right (if you were facing the fan) then go left OR it would get stuck. Might need to look into it and see if I need to grease up the mechanism or clean it up. The other issue I have is with the remote. Regardless if it has new batteries or slightly used batteries, no matter if Im pointing just right or not, the remote response is very picky. Straight on or it wont respond. I use it for white/grey noise at night or when I do get overheated. Usually for night time sleeping. So, Im using the lowest fan speed all the time.

> 24 hourFirst it is extremely quiet compared to the Lasko fan it replaced. Perfect for the bedroom at night, so quiet and yet gives a very good breeze. Each time you turn it on, make any changes it does give a quiet beep. The remote control makes it easy to change the fan speed, turn on - off, turn on the fan head rotation feature, and stay in the location you want to cool. It does have blue LED lights that glow / light up when the fan is turned on and as the fan level speed increases. In a lighted room just look like two blue dots. In a darkened room at night they do give a night light glow. The double blade feature, ( a 2nd smaller blade in front of the large standard blade), seems to help make it very effective at moving quite a bit of air while staying very quiet. Everything I wanted.

> 24 hourThis fan is worth the price. We bought 3 of these, my family loved mine so much I had to get more. Lots of good air and different amount of settings. Batteries don’t come included but it’s still worth the price.

> 24 hourWe needed an additional fan stat in this heatwave. Last month we bought a Lasko fan and wanted to try a different brand to compare. Below are observations between this Honeywell and Lasko 18 pedestal fan: Speed/Power: Lasko has 5-blades, 4-speeds. Speed 1-2 are similar and bumps up at 3 but speed 4 is pretty similar to speed 3. Honeywell has 3 speeds and theres enough of a notable difference between 1 and 3. Honestly, you really only need 3 speeds. Both brands oscillate just fine. Given the larger diameter and 5-blades, Lasko fan provides what feels like stronger air flow. Noise: Perhaps due to the larger diameter of the Lasko blades, the Lasko fan is really loud. We have it set up in the bedroom as a surrogate white noise machine. It drowns out the outside noise when we have the window open. Not sure if its the LA paper walls, but the vibrations of the fan can be heard in the next room. In comparison, Honeywell is significantly quieter than the Lasko fan. Its not silent but I can have the Honeywell fan on, watch tv or have a Zoom call without interference. Well see after some use if the noise level changes. Assembly: Lasko fan is all plastic except for the pole and motor. Honeywell has a metal grill, cement base, and metal motor rod. Both fans have plastic blades. The metal cage on the Honeywell attached more securely than the Lasko plastic grill which snaps. I am still concerned the Lasko grill will pop off one day and were found decapitated in our sleep. Instructions for the Honeywell are not as clear as the Lasko fan manual. Both are simple enough to put together but a few steps in Honeywell instructions were not clearly described and we had to assemble based on logic. I hope the piece that didnt fit to anything was not essential... Lastly, the base footprint of the Honeywell is much smaller and sturdier. Extra features: I like the idea of the different air flow options on the Honeywell but we havent really used the other options except for constant flow. Honeywell also has up to an 8-hour timer. Lasko only offers a 1-2 hour timer which is probably just good for naps? Stay cool everyone!

> 24 hourI was given this fan as a birthday gift, and that one appeared broken. The head of the fan was tilted and couldnt be straightened. Also, the extension pole was missing. Rather than contacting my sister in law who bought it and go through the hassle of returning it, I decided to just buy one myself. Well, this one has the exact same problems. I specifically wanted this fan, among other reasons, BECAUSE it could be raised to just the right height to blow on me when Im in bed. Thats impossible though without the extension pole. This fan may work if it has all the parts, but I dont know. They quality control of the company obviously leaves a lot to be desired. This has been a big disappointment along with a waste of money. Edit: Apparently, the extension pole is INSIDE the other pole. Nowhere in the directions does it tell you this. I loosened the screw at the bottom of the fan head and was able to tilt it. I now have the fan working and it seems to work well. However, the directions for the fan leave MUCH to be desired. Although this fan is actually easy to put together, once you figure it out, the directions are not very clear. Also, it should tell you how to find the extension pole. I have a feeling that is the same problem everyone else who said theres had no extension pole had. They probably have one, but dont know to look in the other pole. Once you get this put together, it seems to be a good fan. But good luck figuring out how to put it together.
