> 24 hourI have spent a bit of time with this laptop and it functions well. It is quick and I have found no problems. The reason for the four star rating is that like all other computers in this price range, the hinged area is weak and will likely eventually become loose.

> 24 hourI complained from the beginning about how erratic the laptop ran. I spent over 4 hours with their technicians telling me that we are just about at a point of fixing it. After my multiple times of complaining, I said I wanted to return it to the HP representative, and he told me it was past the month, (one week) and they could not replace it or take it back. I curse the day I switched to HP. I have bought Dell for years and never had a problem. Their laptops work. Disgusted.

> 24 hourI bought this for my dad to use for simple things. Since the start the WiFi adapter was very finicky. It would drop the signal and refuse to reconnect. Didnt feel I should have to deal with such lame performance for a brand new laptop. So back to Amazon it went. Will look at a Lenovo instead.

> 24 hourIve had laptops last me for years. Never had HP though. Bought this one based on the price, but have had trouble with it ever since. And now just after the warranty expires after only just a year, the battery is dying and there is zero customer service unless you pay extra. The HP driver software isnt compatible with standard Intel drivers, so if you install based on the alerts from Intel it will mess up your display and then youll have to troubleshoot how to fix it.

My only negative comment would be that I waited too long to replace my old machine. Thanks HP, keep up the great work of putting out top-of-the-line equipment.
