> 3 dayI bought this laptop to be solely used as a WFH machine and so far it has not disappointed. Price was a major consideration in my purchase and at $575 I believe you get a lot of value for the buck. This machine is a work horse and the performance is very fast and stable. The keyboard and trackpad are surprisingly decent to use (keyboard not backlit). If speakers are a consideration in your purchase the speakers on this laptop are actually pretty good and the volume is quite loud without getting tinny. Ive read some complaints on the noise of the fan but honestly I think the noise is very low and it runs constantly while Im working and it hasnt bothered me at all. I usually have the laptop plugged in during work so I dont know how long the battery lasts during heavy use. However, the battery seems to drain 10-15% every night while in sleep mode which seems excessive. The only knock I have against the laptop is the display color is not as vibrant as I would like. Its a bit washed out. Its perfectly fine for use with all of my work apps but would be annoying if I was doing a lot of video streaming. Overall, this is a great machine and checks all the boxes I needed for a reliable laptop for work.

Greater than one weekBattery was never working. I have to keep it on charge while using it. Unplug the charge and the laptop shuts down immediately. And seller isn’t paying full price back even after placing return same day I received the order.

> 3 dayIve had this laptop for a little over a month now as I finally broke down and bought something to have in tandem with my work issued laptop as we work from home. Im not putting it under hardcore use - just having something where I can have another screen to pull up online documents - and havent had any issues with performance speed, nor boot up time. Its fast. No issues with battery life. It seems to be a fine computer - except for one (in my view) rather annoying feature - the CPU fan.

> 3 dayThis laptop came defective. Its not faster than HDD HP laptops in the $400 range. It gets extremely burning hot & very loud very fast. Its a lot more I dislike but just know that its a thumbs down and I been buying HP laptops every year for almost 10 years. If your buying a HP laptop Ill say buy a HDD between the $300-400 range on sale. Also the only reason I bought this laptop is because it was the only HP laptop available during this pandemic & I only kept it because I was offered a 40% refund to keep it. Also to take out the battery or anything else you have to remove the full keyboard and more so thats a headache.

> 3 dayArrived with a dead battery. Really defeats the purpose of buying a new laptop when having to go through such issues.

Greater than one weekThe reviews are not dramatic. I choose to ignore them. The touch screen went out first. Then the whole screen died. Seller did nothing to help. Don’t buy this. Replaced with a dell for the same cost.
