> 24 hourAfter some research, I purchased this Baby Monitor when my son was born in Movember 2021. He is 15 months old and we have no complaints about this baby monitor. The connection is always stable, and the picture is clear. If my baby is laying on his side, I can use zoom to see if he is blinking. The battery can last a few hours, but we have the power plugged in most of the time. After 15 months, I am still very pleased with this monitor. I do wish there is an easy wall mount for this monitor.

> 24 hourWe couldnt be happier with our system and have been very pleased with the customer support from Infant Optics. Weve been using the monitor/camera for a couple of years now, and its been great. Recently, though, we started having problems turning the monitor on. I decided to reach out to customer support to see if they had any recommendations, even though it was out of warranty. To my surprise, they replaced the camera anyway. Their replacement arrived quickly and has worked flawlessly. All that to say, were really impressed! We like companies that stand behind their products. I will also add that we recently acquired a second camera to monitor a different room, and the monitor has worked very well for that, too. Users can quickly bounce back and forth between different cameras -- it works great. Were impressed and so glad we chose the DXR8-Pro!

> 24 hourI have an issue that A Monitor Power Adapters not plug side got stuck in DC Jack IN. So I asked Customer Support Team by email if they could resolve the issue or not by using 2 year warranty. First, their responses were very polite and relatively quick. Second, they gave me some advice and ways to keep the camera monitor working without using a monitor power adapter. That was also very understandable. Third, Although they were trying to fix it as much as possible by email, at the same time they arranged a new monitor power adapter and then sent it to my house next day. That was so quick. Lastly, they also followed up if everything was ok nor not. I am not sure about why the USB power code does not still work well ( I suppose that the connection is not strong enough), but the new monitor power adapters works and the customer service team was responsible for everything. Thank you so much.

> 24 hourI was recommended this product by a friend. I took their word and ordered it, We loved it, its worked wonderfully and even needed help from customer service due to a defect in the receiver. Customer service was kind, easy to contact and quick to take action and send a replacement. We loved the camera so much we ordered another. I especially like that you can flip from one camera to another with the touch of a button. BUT we are very disappointed to find out that you can not have 2 monitors at once. I bought 2 cameras and 2 monitors in hopes of not having to run around looking for the other monitor. Unfortunately the cameras can only be connected to ONE monitor at a time. Not so great if you have multiple floors. The night vision on this camera is IMPRESSIVE. If the room is pitch black you can turn the camera on and see.

> 24 hourInfant Optics has a 1 year warranty on their products. That being said, the monitor i bought was just over 2 months past the warranty expiration date when i noticed the speaker started sounding like it was going out. I contacted Infant Optics customer support and got ahold of Kristine Z. She was kind enough to still replace my monitor even though the warranty was past due. She made it very easy for me, and provided fast shipping on the new monitor. Then provided a prepaid shipping label. I cant thank her enough! I would highly recommend this monitor. It has fantastic range, and has made our lives much easier knowing when our daughter is awake from her naps.

> 24 hourGot this 6 months ago and is used daily without any issues. A couple of weeks ago the monitor was accidentally dropped and cracked the LCD. This is not covered in the warranty. However, InfantOptics was very gracious and replaced the monitor with Amazons 2-day delivery. They were also extra thoughtful and shipped the replacement unit before asking to return the cracked unit ensuring no break in monitoring.

> 24 hourI will be comparing my experiences with the DXR-8 Pro and tell you why I switched over from the Nanit Pro system. I have been using the DXR-8 Pro almost a month now. Hopefully my review helps other parents, especially the first time parents who are still figuring things out like we were. I found this monitor after unpleasantly using the nanit pro system for maybe two months before it had the audacity to crap out the first time my infant got sick with a cough. Just poof, won’t connect via Bluetooth anymore. We frustratingly tried all the troubleshooting in the universe for nanit pro. I even reached out to useless customer service who was zero help before finally unplugging the nanit pro, tossing it in a drawer and deleting the app from my phone. “We hates it forever!!” I will say this once for whoever is reading this, the nanit pro system is expensive garbage!! I wasted baby shower gift cards to purchase the $300 monitor system that is stupidly useless without a simple Bluetooth connection. Then, surprise: you have to shell out more money after the first year for a mandatory subscription just to safely monitor your baby, which is rarely mentioned until you’re already at home setting up the camera/app. Ok, rant over. Now, after painstakingly researching, finding out baby monitors could be hacked into, I found the DXR-8 Pro: it’s simple, no nonsense, no hacking, no WiFi outages, no app to run down your cell battery, no failed Bluetooth connections, no sneakily saving your data to the cloud for perverts.. *takes huge sigh of relief* Just plug in camera, make sure monitor is charged and have the peace of mind that you can clearly and safely monitor your child. The picture quality, both day and night vision, is just as clear as the nanit pro. What’s even better, there is no annoying, obnoxiously audible, clicking sound when switching between the two. The menu pulls up on the left side of the monitor screen and the background is transparent so you can still see what your child is doing even while adjusting your settings. Easy access to volume and brightness buttons on top of monitor, plus the on/off button doubles as a sleep mode button. The arrow buttons on the DXR-8 Pro monitor allow you to adjust the camera view up and down or rotate to either side. However, the nanit pro is fixed to the wall and you have to mount it high enough to get a full view of the crib, which is a minimum of 6ft. Then if you’re short like me, it becomes super fun in the midst of troubleshooting/resetting the camera when you can barely reach it behind the crib. You will never have that issue with DXR-8 Pro. I appreciate ALL of these small details after using the nanit pro app. With DXR-8 Pro I have the flexibility to leave my monitor screen on with or without sleep mode, I can choose after how long I would like the monitor to go into sleep mode, or never go into sleep mode. Then if my son makes noise, the light bar plus volume settings will still alert me. The DXR-8 Pro monitor is as big as my iPhone pro max and has a kickstand that is as wide as the length of the monitor itself so I don’t have to worry about it tipping over on my nightstand while sleepily adjusting the volume at night. I do however worry that I might drop the monitor, so I also use the kickstand as a handle to carry while walking from room to room.. as parents do, multitasking, with full hands. Unlike another monitor I purchased then returned before finding the DXR-8 Pro, the charging cables are labeled. They are very specific as to which cable goes with each device.. the monitor cable says monitor, the camera cable says camera. Very straight forward, no guess work or worry if I’m going to damage it straight out of the box. In the box, I also received an additional charging cable that is for a usb portable battery. I wish the wide angle lens also came with everything but it’s not absolutely necessary for me to have it. The lens attachment that did come in the box is for additional zoom but the standard lens already zooms quite far so I don’t see the need for it. The signal bars stay all the way up, I’ve never had an issue with glitches even while standing outside the front of my house. I’ve never had to use the antenna, I actually forgot the monitor even had one because I leave it folded down. Another plus side, there’s no lagging!! With the nanit pro, my kid would cry in real time then a couple seconds later it would come through the nanit pro app. For the supposed technology the nanit has, that’s ridiculous. With the DXR-8 Pro I have experienced zero lagging issues so far. A couple minor downsides which held me back from giving the DXR-8 Pro the full five stars: battery life is atrocious, I have to leave the monitor plugged in at night or the monitor will certainly die. Secondly, there’s no volume control for when talking to your child through the monitor. Unless I’m just not seeing it. I tested the talk button in my usual tone, I could hear myself from almost two rooms away and I felt like my son thought I was screaming at him.. I swear I wasn’t haha. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend the DXR-8 Pro baby monitor above others, especially above nanit pro, and I would absolutely purchase the DXR-8 Pro again if I had to.

> 24 hourWe originally bought a Miku because we liked how it monitored babys vitals without something like the Owlet sock. We ended up returning it because it didnt have a monitor and if you didnt want to attach it to your wall, you had to buy a $100 stand, which is insane for a piece of plastic. We chose this camera instead and are so happy with our decision. It is small and compact, making it easy for travel. If you dont want to attach it to your wall, you can buy a mount for it that can easily attach to the side of any crib or bassinet. We use it on our bassinet while our son is sleeping before we go to bed. The screen quality cant be beat. We can see everything so clearly with the amazing night vision. We always have a fan and a noise machine running, and the noise cancelation eliminates both almost completely. The detail and live feed is so accurate, I can see my son breathing under his Halo sack. It has a wide and a normal lens that are easily interchangeable. The cords for both the monitor and camera are very long and thin in case you need to connect to a distant wall outlet. If you dont have the monitor plugged in, you get a decent amount of battery time before it needs to be charged again. It is easy to move the camera angle from the monitor in case baby moves around. While this doesnt have an app for your phone, we decided we didnt need one. An app will drain your phone battery, and if you are monitoring baby, you cant do anything else on your phone. For example, I frequently use my phone for recipes, so if I was cooking while baby was sleeping, I couldnt properly watch him. The monitor is the perfect size, not too big or too small, has a great battery life, and is easy to move around and position with a kick stand -- so no phone app is needed. Lastly, the signal is really, really good. We took the monitor outside to shovel snow and had no connectivity issues with the camera that was inside and on the second floor of our house.

> 24 hourThis is by far the BEST baby monitor we’ve used. The picture is so clear, and it isn’t automatically zoomed in close where it’s hard to position it correctly (our Motorola one did this and it was so frustrating). The two-way speaker is pretty instant and the sound is clear without static or pause. We love it!!!
