    We love this baby monitor so much. We started with the infant optics dxr-8 and upgraded to the pro once it came out. We added a second camera about 18 months ago when my son was born, but the monitor kept unpairing from both cameras. I contacted customer service and they helped me resolved the issue. Unfortunately the issue kept happening, but even though we were already 10 months outside of our warranty, Vanessa sent us a brand new monitor at no charge. I will forever speak highly of this company and their customer service.

    We have had our DXR 8 Pro for right about 2 years. We started having video connectivity issues with the monitor to the cameras so we reach out to the support team at infant optics. They were great! They walked us through (many different scenarios) how to reset and and test our monitor. All of the testing and adjustments did not solve the issue we were having unfortunately. Due to no resolution the team at Infant Optics offered to send us a new monitor at no charge and it arrived with in 3 business days. We then returned the old unit for them as requested. Several days later the team at Infant Optics (specially Zeil) reached out to check in on us. By far the best customer support we’ve had on any type of infant/baby care item. Super satisfied with the support through the entire process given by Zeil. Go buy an Infant Optics Setup!

    We switched up brands (previously had top rated Samsung for first child) and we’ve been very happy with night vision, noise se Siri it’s, screen size and range. HOWEVER what compelled me to write was the exceptional customer service I received when we had a fluke issue recently; responses to troubleshoot were within the hour, even outside business hours, and the team went above and beyond to give clear guidance to troubleshoot issue and ultimately erred on side of giving us replacement items so we wouldn’t be without a monitor. I’m floored at how responsive they were (we were even slightly outside the warranty!). If only this type of service was more common with tech investments!

    Got this 6 months ago and is used daily without any issues. A couple of weeks ago the monitor was accidentally dropped and cracked the LCD. This is not covered in the warranty. However, InfantOptics was very gracious and replaced the monitor with Amazons 2-day delivery. They were also extra thoughtful and shipped the replacement unit before asking to return the cracked unit ensuring no break in monitoring.

    The camera is good so far. Resolution is good, havent had any range issues. The Active Noise Rejection cuts down the white noise machine significantly but not completely (which is fine, they never claimed it would work 100% with noise machines). One problem Ive noticed is the audio level indicator takes quite a bit of noise before it registers at all, which is a bummer since wed hoped to use it in audio-only mode with the volume down just using the meter. My guess is this is related to the ANR and would be more sensitive if it werent trying to cut out a noise machine, but I havent tested it. Not sure on the battery life yet, we mostly keep it plugged in. So overall, great monitor so far. Unfortunately, after you register the warranty they coax you HARD with a free second camera (normally $100) into joining some loyalty club, which involves writing a review wherever you bought it. Its not 100% clear if youd get the camera if you dont give them five stars, but they make it super clear they REALLY want you to give them five stars. I think this is a good enough product that the reviews would speak for themselves without this sketchy solicitation. They seem to already have a good reputation so I dont know who thought this was a good idea, but it was disappointing and guts my trust in the company from the get-go.

  • I purchased a defective monitor. My screen started to glitch and cut out within a week of me purchasing. I reached out to infant optics and their customer support was amazing. They sent a new monitor and it works perfectly. I’m very pleased with their products and the support I received. I recommend this product to any new parents/parents in general. Very easy to operate and you will not get a clearer image with any other system in my opinion.

    Before I write this I want to say I was not encouraged or bribed to write this review. I’ve seen a few reviews that said they were encouraged to write a review. I was not and these are my honest thoughts. We bought the Miku monitor and the stand that goes with it. All in, $500! But we loved the idea of the breathing tracking and the alerts if no breathing was detected. Without going into too many details, we HATED it. On top of just not being able to track breathing, the picture quality was horrible. I also hated how I could only view on my phone. It made my phone virtually useless to anything else if I wanted to just see the monitor. I really didn’t want to give in and buy something new because of how much money we has invested in this system. But I had to. I didn’t feel comfortable that I couldn’t really see her at night. I thought I would get something cheap. But I couldn’t get past how many good reviews this product had and how great it looked. Sooo glad I gave in and got this! I cannot believe how great the picture quality is. Even in night vision, I can easily see details like the small rise and fall of her chest or drool on her mouth. I also love that I can take the monitor around the house with me and still have my phone free. The features are all great. I love being able to dim it down or turn down the volume. I also love being able to adjust the camera (something the Miku also lacked). If you’re on the fence, just get this!! Sometimes more expensive doesn’t always mean better.

    I love this camera. The two negatives are the kick stand it has on the back is thin and one side of ours broke very easier. The other is having to mount it on the wall when he starts moving around the crib more. There’s no stand for it so it’s basically mounting a nail on the wall and hanging it on that like you would a picture. Just flimsy. But the picture quality and zoom ability is great.

    Infant Optics has a 1 year warranty on their products. That being said, the monitor i bought was just over 2 months past the warranty expiration date when i noticed the speaker started sounding like it was going out. I contacted Infant Optics customer support and got ahold of Kristine Z. She was kind enough to still replace my monitor even though the warranty was past due. She made it very easy for me, and provided fast shipping on the new monitor. Then provided a prepaid shipping label. I cant thank her enough! I would highly recommend this monitor. It has fantastic range, and has made our lives much easier knowing when our daughter is awake from her naps.

    I have only had the monitor for one day so I can’t speak for its longevity, but I am pleased with its function so far and it was easy to set up. The battery does not hold a charge for very long, but if it is plugged in it works well. I had to maneuver the camera quite a bit to actually find the best place to put it to see the baby, but once I found him the image was good. It doesn’t use WiFi so I don’t have to worry about the video being accessible to anyone outside of my home. It was a little more expensive than I had anticipated, but if it holds up it will be worth the money. All in all, I am pleased.
