> 24 hourThis is by far the BEST baby monitor we’ve used. The picture is so clear, and it isn’t automatically zoomed in close where it’s hard to position it correctly (our Motorola one did this and it was so frustrating). The two-way speaker is pretty instant and the sound is clear without static or pause. We love it!!!

> 24 hourWe have used Infant Optics for 3 years now. We started with the DXR-8 baby monitor, and when it was dropped outside and broken, we switched to the DXR-8 Pro. We have 2 cameras for 2 children and they are so easy to connect. Recently we had an issue with the monitor itself not showing the children, it would just play audio. I contacted the Customer Support team with Infant Optics, and Emma C was AMAZING. She followed up with me multiple times after she helped me resolve the issue. After 2 months of this issue the monitor gave out (The monitor was 2 years old). Emma went above and beyond. She informed me that the monitor was no longer in warranty, but she still wanted to help me any way she could. After Sending her proof of purchase and the serial number she had a new monitor sent to me, the only thing that was not covered was the shipping back to the company, and battery was not included. Emma knew that with 2 children, I needed the broken monitor for audio, until the new one arrived. That is not how infant optics normally conducts business due to customers never sending back the monitors, but she made an exception. I have nothing but praises for this company, and product. I will be a lifetime customer, whether for myself or purchasing gifts for others.

> 24 hourI cannot say anything bad about this product OR the company! I had an issue with my monitor and I was able to get a replacement so easily! With another baby on the way, I am so grateful that I was able to fix my issue. The company is so reliable and goes above and beyond for their customers and for that, I will be a customer for life!! The monitor connection can reach far enough for me to be able to go hang out outside at a campfire or enjoy our large yard! The quality is top notch and I LOVE that it doesn’t need WIFI! Best monitor and camera on the market by far. You’d be doing yourself or a family a disservice if you were to go with a different baby monitor :)

> 24 hourWe bought this monitor to replace a wifi one when we had our 2nd child. It has a very long range, especially with the antenna up. The optional zoom lens is nice if you want a closer look all the time, whereas the zoom feature works alright, but gets a little pixelated. It worked great for a little over a year. Then we started having an issue when we would push the OK button to switch between cameras and to the SCAN function. The monitor would shut off and when we turned it back on you only had sound, the screen was either black or had the Infant Optics logo. Turning it off and back on didnt help. The only way to get the picture back was to delete the cameras from the monitor and add them back on. I reached out to Infant Optics and they gave me some recommendations to try. I tried them and it only helped for a few days. They said that even though I was past my 1 year warranty that they would send me a replacement monitor, as long as I would send the old one back. That was a very pleasant surprise! We received the new monitor and set everything up and it has been working great so far!

> 24 hourI think that this is the best monitor by far out of all the monitors that I have bought. I love the zoom, rotating the camera via the parents monitor. However I have a few complaints. One of the main reasons I bought this was the noise reduction system it has on it and it works pretty well when I can use it. However I just set up a 2nd camera and when you have it in scan the monitor will tell you that the noise reduction system turns off and doesnt work. I cant begin to understand why they would advertise this point without telling people this unless I missed it but even if I did it doesnt make sense. The other issue I have is that when you are speaking through the monitor you have to let whoever you are speaking to count to 5 because there is a 5 second delay before someone can speak. I have to tell me kids to count to 5. Again this is ridiculous and should not be the case. The other issue I have and I think this is with all monitors is that when you are far away from whoever you are speaking to the parent monitor can at points cut out but by far this has been the best with overall experience. I believe if your going to charge someone the type of money that thus monitor is then it should not have at least the 5 second delay in which the party on the other side can speak but again I would think they would have also found a solution for still having noise reduction in scan mode.

> 24 hourThis monitor so much better than the Wi-Fi one that I also purchased from another company (Miku). I love that you can also turn off the display but still hear noise and see the sound level even if it is muted. Our camera did break after using it for almost a year. I emailed infant optics and they responded very quickly and sent another camera they arrived in less than a week. I shouldn’t have spent the money on a Wi-Fi camera because this one works so much better. It has been one of my favorite baby gear purchases. Definitely had some anxiety while we were waiting for our replacement. They have a year long warranty and they did a great job honoring it. I’ve never had such a good customer service experience before.

> 24 hourInfant Optics has a 1 year warranty on their products. That being said, the monitor i bought was just over 2 months past the warranty expiration date when i noticed the speaker started sounding like it was going out. I contacted Infant Optics customer support and got ahold of Kristine Z. She was kind enough to still replace my monitor even though the warranty was past due. She made it very easy for me, and provided fast shipping on the new monitor. Then provided a prepaid shipping label. I cant thank her enough! I would highly recommend this monitor. It has fantastic range, and has made our lives much easier knowing when our daughter is awake from her naps.

> 24 hourI have only had the monitor for one day so I can’t speak for its longevity, but I am pleased with its function so far and it was easy to set up. The battery does not hold a charge for very long, but if it is plugged in it works well. I had to maneuver the camera quite a bit to actually find the best place to put it to see the baby, but once I found him the image was good. It doesn’t use WiFi so I don’t have to worry about the video being accessible to anyone outside of my home. It was a little more expensive than I had anticipated, but if it holds up it will be worth the money. All in all, I am pleased.

> 24 hourThis is a wonderful product with one giant flaw; you need to push the cord into the monitor VERY hard. Very, very, full force with your thumb HARD. Push it until you hear and feel the click. If you do not do this, the battery will die and the monitor will start beeping... There is even a tag on the cord that says to push the cord in completely, and even after seeing this my moms caregivers were not able to push it hard enough to fully connect the monitor to the power source/charger.

> 24 hourWe couldnt be happier with our system and have been very pleased with the customer support from Infant Optics. Weve been using the monitor/camera for a couple of years now, and its been great. Recently, though, we started having problems turning the monitor on. I decided to reach out to customer support to see if they had any recommendations, even though it was out of warranty. To my surprise, they replaced the camera anyway. Their replacement arrived quickly and has worked flawlessly. All that to say, were really impressed! We like companies that stand behind their products. I will also add that we recently acquired a second camera to monitor a different room, and the monitor has worked very well for that, too. Users can quickly bounce back and forth between different cameras -- it works great. Were impressed and so glad we chose the DXR8-Pro!
