Love this it’s within 1 degree swing and used as the main controller which compliments the apex as back up I like how the probe is plastic so the ends don’t rust. I wish it had dual probes but for the price it’s awesome

I had an Eheim Jager heater that was virtually impossible to calibrate to the desired temp. and had become useless. Connecting it to the Inkbird made everything easy and I no longer worry about my fish being cooked or freezing because of the EJ heater. It took a bit to understand the directions but the Q&A on Amazon answered all my questions and once set, it truly is set and forget I wish it was adjustable to 1/2 a degree rather than 1 degree but Im happy not to see my tank temp at 84 when the heater was set at 78. Ive been using it on a 20 gal tall for 2 months and could not be happier. If you have an erratic or hard to adjust heater, the Inkbird is for you.

You have to set it a couple degrees warmer then what you want to maintain your desired temperature.

Hooked up 2 heaters for our 155 gallon tank. Seems to work perfect. UPDATE: After 2 years and 3 months, the calibration keeps changing. The first thing I noticed was the water felt cold when feeding the fish. I used 2 glass thermometers and found the calibration was off -15F. I had to set it to -15F to read the write temp. Then it changed to -13, than -15... I am currently looking for a new one.

All I can say is good things about this product very easy to set up and all of you wanna make sure ur tanks are running safe from a heater failure make sure to look into one to these bad boys

Instructions are worthless, used YouTube to setup. Temp is off +|- 1 degree not terrible. But for the money you would expect more

I love the duel screens that show actual and desired temp. Also it is so nice to finally have a timer that can maintain two different temps for day and night. Once I deciphered the instruction pages it was fairly simple to use. It took me a good 30 minutes of reading it over multiple times to understand what the menus and codes actually meant. You have to memorize the sequence of program steps because if you have to look at the manual for too long mid process it will time out and you have to start it over. Luckily it’s set it and forget it. I should have written down the instructions for myself in clear English while it was still fresh so I can remember how to use it when I need to change something.

it can be set up for day and night temp if need and few other settings for convenience and for price worth it ! Better than the 150$ brand and it only lasted a year an temp prob went out and replacement prob was 59$ If it holds up to time than this will be great regulator for temp!thank u
