> 3 dayExcellent addition to any aquarium. Especially for multiple heater systems. I set both heaters to 5 degrees over desired temp. Controller maintains within 1 degree, normally withing 0.5 degrees of desired temp. Super easy to read LED display. Easy set at F or C readings. I have mine mounted to the wall beside the tank so I can track temps at a glance.

Greater than one weekHello, I have recently received the new model inkbird with the aquarium probe and it works great and is very reliable. For that matter it I find it to be a testament to the quality that I have been running an older model with the metal probe for over 2 years straight now in some aquariums with rather expensive fish stock. I have reached out to inkbird a few occasions on facebook and have had great communications with those that I have worked with. In comparison myself and a few friends have tried the Finnex heater controllers and have had them fail or found them to be incredibly inaccurate. As well as cost more then the Inkbird units. For heat controllers I will be looking no further then Inkbird from here on out!

> 3 dayThese give me so much peace of mind, because I was so worried that the heaters in my aquariums would malfunction and basically boil my fish (it happens) or that theyd get cold and sick over the winter months. I accidentally purchased the wrong ones with the metal tips (these would be best used for beer-making or other such purposes). I returned those to purchase these, and theyre just what I need! They are very sensitive to the tank water temperature, and keep the heater on only as needed to maintain the acceptable temperature range I selected in my settings. Be warned that the instructions are terrible. The different settings and their corresponding display on the unit is poorly explained by someone who is clearly very familiar with the equipment but cannot teach. The display looks so analog and its a frustrating trying to determine what the settings are for and how they work. Additionally frustrating is the fact that the settings do not save until you hold the button (the same one you hold to go into the settings mode), but it simply drops back into working mode if you pause for mere seconds to try to understand which setting the display is allowing you to adjust. So while you move along through the settings, adjusting the first, then the second, if you get to the third and it takes you a couple of seconds to either understand or decide, you will be booted out of the settings mode with none of your previous decisions saved. This really needs to be changed by the manufacturers. I think Ive gotten these figured out, and I am getting a fourth after having already purchased 3 of these. They come with one suction cup threaded over the thermostat element wire. You will want to have more suction cups on hand to secure this, as the coated wire holds the wrapped shape its shipped in and doesnt just straighten out when unwrapped.

> 3 dayUsed a little more than a month. Took a little reading to understand and I watched a YouTube video to make sure I did everything right and so far so good. Power went out and it came back on without needing to re-set it.

Greater than one weekThis is an excellent product for our saltwater aquarium. In the past, we have heaters get stuck in the ON position and nearly kill our stock. This provides a safeguard for our heater and backup heater with accurate readings and ranges. Only small complaint is it takes a bit of reading to learn how to set temperatures.

> 3 daySo far so good. Once I figured out how to read the characters on the screen I understood the setup completely. I really like the unit. I use it to control my aquarium heater. Seems solid and well-made.

> 3 dayWorks great! Been using it for around 4 months now and holding strong. I clean the prob every month or so for the best accuracy since slime, coraline, and algea grow on it.

> 3 dayAll I needed is a temperature controller to keep baby chick from getting too cold. This one does that, but it also can be set for two temperatures with a clock to control the number of hours for the first temperature with the balance of the 24 hours at the second temperature. You can also set how many degrees below the set temperatures when it will turn on. In setting it up, you need the instructions as you step through a sequence with codes such as TS1 and TS2 for temperatures, DS1 and DS2 for heating differential, CF for Centigrade or Fahrenheit, etc. The over and under temperature alarms are fixed at 210 and -58 degrees Fahrenheit; to me theyre useless. I checked accuracy with precision thermometers and its within a degree.
