InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

I had my plumber to install, and he had recommended the Badger 5. Was less expensive from Amazon than at a plumbing store here in Wilmington, NC

This was a quick delivery item and an easy install. It is identical to the ISE Badger 500 model from Home Depot that it replaced at a lower price.

Easy to install on existing disposal mount. Replaced 15 year old unit that finally rotted out. Same galvanized cutter and noise level as old one. Hope to get close to same life as old one

Purchased this to replace and old one that is more than 20 years old.

Only took about 10 minutes to replace old disposal.

Easy installation,easy connection with the extension cord.

Went in easily. Very quiet when on.

Our 2nd unit like this. Only criticism is I wish that the unit was a bit smaller in size.

Great value! Took one hour to replace with no issues, b/c it was the same basic model - just heavier duty (1/2hp vs. the original 1/3hp). In my DIY experience, Badger is a solid garbage disposal brand that will hold up nearly ten years if you treat them right.

We purchased this disposal to replace the one that we had for 17 years.
