As the top reviewer addressed, it is really easy to replace if you are already using the same brand. My cousin did this replacement pretty quickly, it seems he just twist the old one off and pop the new one on. The nose level is decent, and it’s working well. I have no complaint!

Easy to install for a non pro. Pretty much plug and play replacement of old garbage disposal

I replaced an old disposal that was similar in appearance to this one. I just unplugged the old one from the electrical wall socket, twisted it off the retainer ring under the drain and put the new one on to the ring, twisted it tight, plugged it in, and Voila... all installed...Easy. Runs nice and quiet compared to the previous one. I am completely satisfied.

Last disposal died (seized motor) after 5 years. Fortunately InSinkErator makes these things super easy to swap out. Seriously - the whole thing took me a couple of hours to take the old one out and install the new one (they were the same model.) Unplug, disconnect the pipe and twist - its off. While annoying that it only lasted 5 years with daily (sometimes twice, thrice or more daily) use, I dont expect much else for a $100 disposal. Thanks, InSinkErator, for making it easy to replace.

Exact same size and connections as the other name disposal (whirlpool) I bought from Amazon 7 years ago, which replaced the original one in the house that lasted 8 years. Don’t forget to knock out your dishwasher drain plug if attaching a drain line!

Exact replacement for broken disposal so replacement was easy. Cord is on the disposal already so there was no wiring. Took about 10 minutes to do the swap.
