InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

Already had a 20 year old Insinkerator that gave up so a direct fit replacement was a no brained. Amazon had an open box special. Popped the old one out and new one in. About 20 minutes and saved some coin. Win win.

I loved the fact that this came with a power cord! It really was the main reason that I got this particular model. Although I have liked this specific garbage disposal model for a long time - and have bought at least four over the years - this was the first one that came with the electrical cord so I didnt have to undo the other one and install it, which is kind of a pain. Only complaint I have is the little O ring or washer or spacer that goes between the pipe under the sink and connects to the disposal I did not see and couldnt figure out why it kept leaking! My bad, but the drawing(s) couldve been clearer!

Product came with the sink mount issued, very disappointed... luckily the one I had mount was 1 year old and looked newer than the one I received

I like this product enough to have purchased a replacement of the same kind, but my last one died after about a year and we never could figure out what the problem was. No detectable blockage, reset button didnt help, motor made noise but nothing turned and then it smoked and we gave up. But it works well and is easy to install!
