Greater than one weekGreat price. The plumber that I use suggested that I find this particular model on Amazon. This model is the one that they offer to sell and install. This was $50 less expensive than what they charge for it.

> 3 dayInstallation easy as this was a swap out of same type that was put in years ago. Noise level not as quite as hoped but OK.

> 3 dayWorked as described. Installation was relatively easy if you are comfortable with a little bit if electrical and plumbing

> 3 dayMy mom and I were able to install this by ourselves once we found a good YouTube video. Has been working great since we got it 3 months ago.

> 3 dayI had a plumber install and it seemed easy for him. The noise level is a lot less than the 15 year old one I had. It does a good job on food scraps.

> 3 dayThis unit was shipped with a cord that I had to take off and direct wire to replace the unit I had. This was somewhat of a challenge. If yours plugs into a receptacle this is not a problem. Mine is direct wired so had to take apart and remove the cord. Not easy! Otherwise a good unit. Fit exactly and good value.

> 3 dayI had a badger 1/2 hp go out so I replaced it with same. Thought I could just swap them but not so easy. I ended up just replacing everything to make it all water tight. I tried to use the old flange that connected the disposal to the drain but that didnt work. I had to replace the flange, and add the rubber gasket and that fixed my leak. Then had to replace the pipe connecting the disposal to the drain. That wasnt necessarily a fault of the disposal...just an issue that popped up. When connecting the snap ring, they suggest putting the disposal on top of the flange in the sink but that didnt work...not enough weight. I used a 30 lb kettle bell to sit on the sink flange and was then able to put on the snap ring and get things going. The problem with plumbing is if you disturb anything, you risk multiple failures. Its not the fault of the disposal unit but just life with plumbing. I just installed it today and its much quieter than the badger it replaced. Time will tell if its worth it.
