InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

Good quality replacement disposal. The original one had been in place for around 15 years when it finally quit working (started to leak at the bottom). Didnt even have to replace the mounting system! Probably not the quietest one you can buy but for the price it is a great disposer!

If you have a insinkerator and want to upgrade to higher hp or replace this will take you 15 min only if you forget to knock out the dishwasher plug if needed

Quieter than my previous unit!

The rubber washer was deformed and I had to soak it in hot washer for a while before I could reinstall it. The ‘J; black pipe should have been a little longer

I had my plumber to install, and he had recommended the Badger 5. Was less expensive from Amazon than at a plumbing store here in Wilmington, NC

This replaced an older Badger model when we updated the kitchen (it had only 1/3 hp), and fit nicely under the new sink. It came with everything necessary for the install (note there are two rubber gaskets, make sure you install the one with a groove over the outlet pipe), and fired up without issue. The noise is no more than the old one, maybe even a little quieter, but its got plenty of power!
