InSinkErator Garbage Disposal with Power Cord, Badger 5, Standard Series, 1/2 HP Continuous Feed, Black

My existing insinkerator finally developed a leak after 20 years. My wife’s kitchen sink was out-of-service so I needed the new disposal quickly and Amazon took care of that as usual. The design of the drain on the new model was different from the original and at first this upset me but... After installing it I can see that this change is a big improvement in the design and reduces the chance of a leak. In the end the new drain design it actually easier to couple up too. Well done and highly recommended.

When my husband and I moved to a new home which had an ancient InSinkErator disposal, I called the company and they were kind enough to send me a new plastic baffle thingy- the soft plastic piece you see when you look down at the unit from the sink - free of charge to replace the stained one that was there. Great customer service. When it finally died (it had to be at least 15 years old), I replaced it with the same brand and I am very happy with it.
