Direct replacement for the disposal I had.

I had broken my previous garbage disposal, I was able to replace in 30 minutes on Thanksgiving by myself. I recommend you use a car jack and it probably would have taken 5 minutes-or have a second person.

I had an old one the same make and model. No cord tho. My old one had a spliced flex cord from the wall. Other than that, the plumbing, and attachment to sink was already there. I cut the cord power wares and spliced it together and the thing runs great

I just received this item, which makes me reluctant to rate it so soon. I must say that it was very easy to install, although I must say that I was replacing a virtually identical model. I had one issue, self-made, as I didnt read the instructions carefully enough. ;-) As a garbage disposal, it works, its relatively quiet, and I dont ask much more than that, especially since I felt the price was right.

More powerful than the 12yr old Badger 1 it replaced, yet no more noise.

Bought this to replace our 10 yr old unit that had developed a leak. Incredibly easy to install and relatively quiet operation. Insinkerator is a trusted brand and I highly recommend this disposal! 5 Stars
