I had been holding off on replacing our broken Badger 5 because it seemed like it was going to be one of those really difficult projects. I couldnt have been more wrong. I found super helpful instructions on the internet (the disposal came with instructions, but these were a little more geared towards novice plumbers like me), had to run out for one tool I didnt have, and it took me an afternoon because I was going slowly. If youre more comfortable with pipes and dont have to go to the hardware store, its going to take even less time.

Purchased this to replace my unit that quit 1 year ago (yes...very lazy of me). I don’t like messing with wiring so I opted for the pre-wired unit. This was about $5 cheaper than my local Lowe’s and came ready to install. It took about 10 minutes and we now have a working disposal again. Worth the buy.
