> 24 hourso far so good, swapped out the old pump assembly with just removing the base and a few hoses , and replacing the flap valve on the bottom. The pipe also has the joker valve in it as well. So the entire pump is complete , took me about 15 to 20 min max , probably a lot less. The result is the pump works excellent . Definitely a great replacement.

> 24 hourGreat product from Jabsco, I replaced my original pump from my 04 Chaparral 260ssi which wasnt pumping in water from the river. Easy to install and fixed my issue right away. Would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI had read other comments about just buying a complete assembly versus the individual parts. For the price I paid on Amazon I totally agree. I have a 1988 Catalina 34 with the older model pump head assembly and replacing it took less than 10 minutes (pretty good for any boat project). Basically just need to remove and then re-fasten the four screws that hold the pump assembly to the base and the hose clamps at the discharge elbow. I had recently replaced my joker valve a few months earlier so I actually just swapped the discharge elbows rather than removing the discharge hose from the elbow. Im keeping the new joker valve that came with the assembly as a future spare. I also put down a puppy training pad prior to starting to help soak up any liquids while doing the swap. The pads also work great when changing your oil or fuel filters to prevent fluids from dripping onto the floor and simplifying clean-up. Amazing how much better the head works with the new assembly.

> 24 hourIf you live on the boat you should replace this every 3 years. Comes with The joker valve. Just the joker valve is 25 bucks. This is a no-brainer by it.

> 24 hourI needed to replace my Jabsco pump. It was leaking around the top and the plunger was getting very difficult to work. I read the comments from customers and noted the one about the bottom connection was at a 45 degree angle up and theirs was 45 degrees to the left. I totally agree with this. All other connections were exactly the same. So I took off the connection and gasket from the new pump cleaned up the old one that was angled correctly and simply use the old one to make the connection to the line going to the tank. It worked great. So consider this as an option. Tks again to Amazon for this product.

> 24 hourAfter only a couple months of sporadic use there was an internal failure that allowed the whole cylinder the handle is mounted in to rotate. It still works if you are careful about positioning the handle but you can move it to other positions where it just churns.

> 24 hourMy head was struggling to flush. I heard about re-building valves etc.. spend the money (very little extra) and just buy the whole pump assembly! This works like a dream and was minimally gross.

> 24 hourWorks like youd expect a Jabsco flush valve (not the best product but not much better choices). I just cant believe marine prices, absolutely outrageous that this thing costs $90.
