Jabsco Manual Pump Assembly f/29090-Series

> 3 dayNeeded a repair kit for the marine head but decided to change out for the upgrade. Best decision I made. New pump is so much better and the locking valve keeps water from pushing in while underway. Great price and huge improvement. If you have the old style.....swap it out with this unit!

> 3 daypurchased this to replace the broken pump on my 2003 era Jabsco marine head. The assembly where the base of the new pump unit screws on to the connector pipe to the existing bowl is not exactly the same. The new pump mount included a shorter gasket (more rectangular) and had squared off the interior mount. I needed to grind down and flatten the base so that I could get a flush mount that did not leak. Seems to be fine now. But will see how long it lasts.

> 3 dayI ordered this replacement assembly to help a friend who was a little boater impaired; Although it was tempting to go ahead and buy a whole new replacement toilet (at a little over twice the price), we decided that because everything else on his head was fine, it wold be simpler, less expensive, and better to just replace the leaking pump. Was a quick repair and made his head like new. Since this assembly contains almost all of the working components of the head, I recommend it highly, and you do not have to go through the messy part if you replace the entire head!

> 3 dayIf you are rebuilding the pump on your marine head do not by parts and tear the pump apart to replace them. This pump assembly updates your head to the new style head, the only difference is the pump. Also, you remove two hose connections to the old pump, four screws and this goes back on very easy. I have dissassembled replaced parts and reassembled these pumps (more times than I wanted) over the years and this is the only way to go. If you check the price for a rebuild kit you will find little difference in price and this essentially gives you a new head. (almost). My 15 year old head is like new after replacing the pump.

> 3 dayGot this for my boat to replace an old unit which seemed like it had never changed. I could tell it had some type of repair kit in it, but after installing this..OMG I dont know how I have waited this long to purchase this. I can flush and clean the Boat Toilet bowl much nicely now. Thank You.

Greater than one weekEasy to install. Works well. Only complaint is the dial with the lock/unlock labels can spin loose and when that happens you lose suction while pumping. It can be tightened by hand though. Not sure if that is a feature or design flaw.

> 3 dayFor years I bought the rebuild kits, pulled the pump, tore it apart, changed out the rubber parts and reinstalled. Sometimes, it worked. Now I pull the pump and install the new one and it always works.

> 3 dayWhat a life saver. I found this at a marine store for twice the cost. I purchased this kit, which saved me quite a bit of money on a toilet replacement. Its well constructed and reasonably priced.

> 3 dayMy head was struggling to flush. I heard about re-building valves etc.. spend the money (very little extra) and just buy the whole pump assembly! This works like a dream and was minimally gross.
