Jabsco Manual Pump Assembly f/29090-Series

For years I bought the rebuild kits, pulled the pump, tore it apart, changed out the rubber parts and reinstalled. Sometimes, it worked. Now I pull the pump and install the new one and it always works.

Replacement for old assembly .....installed easily and worked great.

This was replacement complete hand pump assy to replace 2006 vintage, old one had hard time emptying. Simple re-install @ 3 hoses disconnect an 4 base screws!! Yrs ago I did seal job didn’t work for me so many distractions during work. Well see how it works when boat goes in water and report back!

The lip seal ring at the pump shaft broke after 1/2 a year active service. (was installed for two years) Changed the ring for a new one from a hardware store, replaced the mild steel spring with a rubber o-ring. Works!

We bought our boat used and had no idea how and when our head had been maintained. So when we had backflow and leaking, we replaced the entire assembly kit. It now works PERFECTLY! The price on Amazon was way better than West Marine, so it was worth the wait. Just wish we had bought the deal with the macerator pump...ours died about 3 weeks later!

This pump assembly was an exact replacement for my old one in our Catalina 380. The installation was simple and fairly quick. I took the opportunity to clean the hoses as well as the space behind the toilette, so everything looks almost brand new. The pump works great! It takes less pumping to get rid of things in the bowl and it doesnt allow any back flow.

We have a 1967 Bristol 35. The pump broke from pumping handle too hard on the toilet flush/fill system. We bought this Jabsco pump because reviews said it is top of the line. It is very much top of the line!! Very strong and sturdy. The handle can sure take a pumping! Works like a charm! A must have for days out on the boat. Especially if you have women and kids on the boat.

If you live on the boat you should replace this every 3 years. Comes with The joker valve. Just the joker valve is 25 bucks. This is a no-brainer by it.

Owning a boat is often about fixing things, especially pumps. Purchased this pump to replace one of the 2 pumps on my boat. Doesnt get any easier than this install. And the twist and lock is awesome. What I really appreciate is the fact that the fittings havent changed. My boat is 28 years old and it seated perfectly. Wow. Im buying a second for the other head. Pump is so good I just bought a second one August 2020 for the second head.
