I purchased this to get life back into my wood board which had become so dry it lost its shine. I had wooden spoons that were very dry and wood grain no longer visible. I used this as directed and everything looks brand new. Ive even washed it a couple times post treatment and it is keeping its shine.

I used the oil to clean the board when it arrived. Lots of dust and unidentifiable debris came up on the cleaning cloth, so I scrubbed generously until the board came clean. I applied the oil according to directions from Boos, left it overnight to soak in and now the board is clean and hopefully well protected. Maple is very hard wood and the board should now be watertight and easy to clean between uses. Directions are to use the oil once a month.

The oils are mineral oil and bees wax.

Product smells great and is easy to use. I take my bamboo board, make sure its clean and dry, and apply the oil. Your board will be out of commission for a full day so make sure you have an alternate cutting soarce. Once its absorbed wipe off excess, then add the cream and let your board sit another day. Supposed to do it once a month but I usually go longer. Restores the board to looking like new again.

Worked magic on a dry board! One hint though,,,very hard to express the cream out of it’s tube. Put the tube in a pan or bowl of warm tap water for a few minutes and so much easier!

To tell the truth this kit is invaluable to protect your wood blocks from moisture and water damage. Adding this oil really brings back the lift in your wood products.
