Like many of previous purchasers of this item I too received the mystery oil with the label vs printed on the bottle and the board cream with antimicrobial crossed out with Sharpie marker. However before returning the item claiming it to be a fake I called John Boos company at their toll free number and they confirmed that both items are authentic, just that they had ran out of their traditional packaging for the oil and still waiting for I believe they said licensing to be able to label the board cream with antimicrobial. But I made sure to verify that the product is in fact still antimicrobial and they confirmed it. I have full confidence I received an authentic product now and will not be returning the items.

This product can take some really time to apply depending on what you’re applying it to but it works so incredibly well for chopping boards and kitchen utensils! I’m over the moon with it and so excited to start using it regularly because you get a lot of product for the price, it’s really good value!!!
