Easy to read directions and the product definitely moisturized my knife block.

Keeps my cutting boards looking great. I apply monthly since my boards are used daily. Depending on how much use and how the board looks, I may use one product or the other and sometimes both products. I feel like using hot water for cleaning the boards tends to remove the product over time. It does require a bit of time to let the product soak in.

Boos oil and cream works well. After slightly sanding with fine grit sandpaper wipe the dust away with a dry cloth. A wet cloth causes the tiny wood fibers to stick up. Instructions say to rub in the oil and leave over night then do the same with the cream. Then repeat this process monthly. Who remembers to do this monthly? I do mine every few months and the wood is still great after two years

In general it is a product which is worth your money, gives a delicate beautiful color for your board. Just be aware, it took a half bottle to soak 3 Zwilling bamboo boards: big, middle, small.

I bought this cream for my new cutting board. It is not cream at all, it is hard as a rock and I am unable to get it out. The oil that came with the board with thicker than this oil. I am wondering if this is from boos? I need to be able to get this out of the tube. It was not left out in the cold and it has been in a warm area of house to see if that is the issue, it is not

Im practically giddy over the results! I couldnt find a good food grade stain to use so I opted for this product instead and got the exact same color I was hoping to get with a stain. I put over ten coats of oil (although after the second coat the wood was already this color) but kept waiting for the wood to stop absorbing the oil, which never really happened, so after using over half of the bottle I just moved on to the applying the cream. I couldnt be happier with this product. I did also try it on my stainless steel appliances and it brightened those as well. I dont know what all the reviews about the cream being so hard to use are about. It squeezed right out of the bottle easily and required no elbow grease at all to apply. I am in a warmer climate, but it was still about 75 degrees in my house when I took on this project. Or maybe they changed the formula? I dont know. As far as how it holds up, I dont know...I was so excited with the results I jumped right online to leave a review.

My sons made me a custom cutting board for all my heavy cutting. Like Turkey, tri tip, ham ect... When he seen his dad using it he said you need to oil and condition it so b it can last forever. I immediately ordered this set because I want it to last forever. I watched the video and did exactly as they suggested. I bought enough for a life time, this stuff is amazing.

These two products made a huge difference in my new Boos work table. I thought it was beautiful as is, but after applying the oil one night and the cream the next night, it looks 10 times better. The color is more rich and the texture is more smooth. Its stunning. The table is 60 x 30, but I barely made a dent in the containers. While I was at it, I decided to oil my salad bowl and wooden spoons, and everything looks better.

Like many of previous purchasers of this item I too received the mystery oil with the label vs printed on the bottle and the board cream with antimicrobial crossed out with Sharpie marker. However before returning the item claiming it to be a fake I called John Boos company at their toll free number and they confirmed that both items are authentic, just that they had ran out of their traditional packaging for the oil and still waiting for I believe they said licensing to be able to label the board cream with antimicrobial. But I made sure to verify that the product is in fact still antimicrobial and they confirmed it. I have full confidence I received an authentic product now and will not be returning the items.
