> 3 dayWe use this for our cutting board and our solid wood dining room table. It’s awesome! The oil is thin and perfect for daily cleaning/maintenance, while the thicker conditioner we use once a month to maintain the protective layer to ensure the wood remains healthy. Our cutting board and table look exactly the way they did the day we bought them! Love this product!

> 3 dayThere’s no better way to protect my Boos cutting board than with these products. This keeps the board looking fresh, clean, moist and new all the time. I love the applicator which makes it so easy to apply. I’d highly recommend this to anyone owning a high end cutting board.

> 3 daySince I love to cook and have Global and Wusthol knives, I had started to look for a good cutting board. As it turns out, my roommate has a cutting board that was made for him by a high school class whose teacher served with him in the Marines. The board has feet, is 1-1/2 inches thick and is 12 x 18. He had no idea what he had and had stuck it in a cupboard under the stove. I had a handyman sand it down since someone had gauged it with a knife. Although he went ahead and oiled it and put cream on it, I started using the Boos Mystery Oil. I could be wrong but I think the proper way to do this is to squirt a lot on the board and use your hand to spread it around. I think I wasted some time in using a paper towel to do this because I was simply not leaving enough on the board. There will probably be places that soak up the oil faster than others. Just go back and spread it around some more. I am also using it on the underside of the board along with the feet. Do not ignore the edges. That is probably where it will start to warp if at all. Anyway, I am just going to keep adding the oil until the board cannot absorb more and then use the cream. I will then maintain once a month. I read where someone said that it was a chore to do this. Huh? It is actually relaxing and enjoyable to see it deepen in color. I am sorry that some people appear to have received counterfeit versions of this based on their reviews. Mine were perfect and do not have any odor. I really could not be happier with the product. When I move and have to give up this cuting board, I am sure I will buy a John Boos walnut and maple block.

> 3 dayI use this on my cutting boards and wooden spoons and spatulas monthly if heavily used and periodically if not and it keeps them looking like new and I feel confident that even though I clean them after use, they are being protected against germs and other nasties by being properly sealed and conditioned.

> 3 dayThis product can take some really time to apply depending on what you’re applying it to but it works so incredibly well for chopping boards and kitchen utensils! I’m over the moon with it and so excited to start using it regularly because you get a lot of product for the price, it’s really good value!!!

Greater than one weekKeeps my cutting boards looking great. I apply monthly since my boards are used daily. Depending on how much use and how the board looks, I may use one product or the other and sometimes both products. I feel like using hot water for cleaning the boards tends to remove the product over time. It does require a bit of time to let the product soak in.

Greater than one weekI used this product to refinish my wood cutting boards. I have had them for years and they started to bleach, crack and just dry out. This product has made a huge difference in the durability of my boards. I highly recommend if you love your wooden cutting boards. I will say that, it is messy! If you are someone who doesnt like to get their hands oily and greasy wear gloves. I also have learned to be very generous with the oil and really give the wood time to soak it all up. Hope you enjoy it!

> 3 dayI have a 10 kitchen island, it wouldnt let the picture post & I used the oil & wax, I purchased a cherry unfinished. I did not spend a fortune on it, but it came out gorgeous! I just ordered more oil & wax to keep it up. It really holds up beautifully & i even usd it on a family heirloom rocker that is over 100 years old & it looks beautiful too. It does everything it says it does.

> 3 dayArtistic cutting boards are expensive. Why not do your best to take care of them. Ive used mineral oil for years. The wax makes the protection last a month in my kitchen.
