> 3 dayWow!!! This stuff seriously works wonders. I forgot my cutting board even looked like this when it’s being properly cared for. Never going without this stuff again! Would definitely recommend getting the duo of the oil and cream.

> 3 dayI’m really impressed with this product. I’ve been using another brand but it took several coats and didn’t give me the “dry” finish I was looking for. Boos Block oil and cream were easy to apply and I love the finish! For my new boards all I had to do was apply one coat of oil, let it dry overnight and wipe off any excess then apply the cream and let it set overnight and the wipe off any excess. Perfect finish and not oily at all! After doing all of these boards, I was shocked at how little product I used. If you can’t see the bottles in my picture they are over 3/4 full!

> 3 dayI just got the new Boos board so I decided to invest in the care products as well. The oil works well. Dont like the cream. Sort of grainy? Anyway it doesn’t spread as well as the oil. Now that I am thru the seasoning period for my board, i only use the oil so I would not recommend this combo package

> 3 dayThis product is easy to use - apply a thorough coat, allow to soak in overnight, then buff with a clean cloth. It does a fantastic job of refurbishing and protecting wooden items. I used it on a dough bowl, several cutting boards and serving boards. It works like magic!

Greater than one weekWe put in butcher block counter tops recently. I decided to use Boos because it is nontoxic and made with bees wax. Water beads up, it was easily absorbed and easy to apply. The wood grain looks really nice. Because the countertop was new I applied the wax several extra times as my environment is very dry.

Greater than one weekI love that the oil and wax comes in a set! I use both about once a month on my boos block cutting board and it definitely helps keep the board moisturized and prevents cracks.

> 3 daySince I love to cook and have Global and Wusthol knives, I had started to look for a good cutting board. As it turns out, my roommate has a cutting board that was made for him by a high school class whose teacher served with him in the Marines. The board has feet, is 1-1/2 inches thick and is 12 x 18. He had no idea what he had and had stuck it in a cupboard under the stove. I had a handyman sand it down since someone had gauged it with a knife. Although he went ahead and oiled it and put cream on it, I started using the Boos Mystery Oil. I could be wrong but I think the proper way to do this is to squirt a lot on the board and use your hand to spread it around. I think I wasted some time in using a paper towel to do this because I was simply not leaving enough on the board. There will probably be places that soak up the oil faster than others. Just go back and spread it around some more. I am also using it on the underside of the board along with the feet. Do not ignore the edges. That is probably where it will start to warp if at all. Anyway, I am just going to keep adding the oil until the board cannot absorb more and then use the cream. I will then maintain once a month. I read where someone said that it was a chore to do this. Huh? It is actually relaxing and enjoyable to see it deepen in color. I am sorry that some people appear to have received counterfeit versions of this based on their reviews. Mine were perfect and do not have any odor. I really could not be happier with the product. When I move and have to give up this cuting board, I am sure I will buy a John Boos walnut and maple block.
