I purchased this as a backup for my sons iPad. It stayed in the box on the shelf until I used it. Here I am replacing the screen as intended by directions that are HORRIBLE to begin with. Now his iPad that did work before no longer works and the screen doesn’t.

It worked great. Saved us from having to pay the deductible at the school for my sons Ipad.

It comes with the tools you need. Do yourself a favor and watch some YouTube videos on how to do it as the written directions are not very helpful. Also, many of the screws you need to handle are VERY small...tweezers are provided which you will absolutely need...but you will probably need some magnification to see clearly. Probably took me an hour to complete. I could do the next one faster as I had never done one before. iPad is great now. Screen works perfect.

The description is very misleading. This only comes with the the glass for the iPad. It does not come with the digitizer. I was lucky enough to use my old one still to make this work.

En verdad nunca había hecho un cambio de screen así que solo vi un tutorial y fue Real GT e fácil. El producto quedó perfecto, lo único que debo destacar es que la cinta adesiva es a mi parecer muy gruesa y el vidrio no queda perfectamente alineado, aún siguiendo la recomendación de hacerle presión por 24 horas. Pero quedo genial. Por lo menos ahora es seguro para que mis hijos la usen por que estaba muy quebrado el crsital.

This does not have adhesive pre installed. It comes with a tube of rubber cement. That’s fine - and probably better to seal the screen - but not what is advertised. Also, my sleep/wake function doesn’t work anymore. Probably from too much rubber cement along the edge of the screen. Small gripes considering the screen was shattered and now works again. Just FYI.

This screen worked very well from the moment it was installed. Take care when installing not to leave anything at all on the back side, and use the glue provided especially around the edges! A case can also help in keeping the new screen in place while the glue settles.
