> 3 dayThis is my first USA-made JustRite gasoline can. The non-ethanol fuel that I use for My mower, generator, snow blower is many miles from my home, so I needed a better sealing can than my plastic numbers. Can’t have excessive fumes or a slosh spill inside my truck. This JustRite can is the ticket. The can shipped to me in its JustRite box, no outer box, but can was pristine, no dents. The spout is installed with two Phillips head screws and a cork gasket, all provided. This can has a ten year warranty. This can is type 2, two openings, and seals well at each. I tested it with water first, no leaks when standing or pouring. I’m surprised that it pours so smoothly, no glub glub like most plastic numbers. I adore the directional spout and the under one inch size to use for my implements and my truck. I like that this can easily empties completely, unlike some plastic cans that need to be tipped nearly upside down to get the last few ounces. I paid twice as much as I did for any plastic can I ever bought, but after the frustrations of leaking, stripped threads on spouts, etc., I would only buy this gas can going forward. Winner.

> 3 dayThese cans are still the best after all these years. Don’t try and reinvent the wheel. I had a mishap with plastic cans. I’ll never go back. Lucky to have survived.

> 3 dayI had one of the plastic 5 gallon gas cans for several years but it was such a pain in the butt when pouring gas. You had to pull on a button in order to push down on the handle to release the gas. I got fed up with it and bought this metal gas can. I should have bought this a long time ago. It is so easy to use and pour gas. While it costs more it is worth it. Best thing Ive bought in a while!

> 3 dayIf youre looking for the absolute best gas can there is, you need one from this series. I call it a series, because they come in many different sizes. I bought the two gallon size, which was perfect for me, but as I said, there are many sizes. They are beautifully made, with a great filler opening with a built in screen to prevent foaming and the accompanying mess. The pour spout is fully bendable to fit what ever it is youre filling, with a very easy release handle. Great can.

> 3 dayWell, the new EPA gas cans on the market with the stupid valves are a prime example of garbage engineering. I tried a few different models, and the valves either stick open or dont open at all. There is no excuse... Then, I discovered the Justrite AccuFlow 5 gallon can. It puts all other gas cans to shame in terms of quality, ease of pouring, and superior engineering. Lesser gas cans cower in fear and humility, and have been recycled. Will probably be returned to market as fidget spinners. Why you need it: Unless youre going for the neighborhood Darwin award, dont skimp on storage containers for flammable and potentially explosive liquids. Step up to a high quality and very safe Justrite Safety Can. You can get them in different colors for storing all of your fuels safely (and not mixing them up). Why I like it: Superior engineered, powder coated, metal safety gas can goodness. The valve opens and closes easily, making for safe pours and no fumes. The nozzle is flexy for better aim into the tank...because no one likes bad aim. The powder coat and metal is thick and sturdy...because no one likes a squishy can.

> 3 dayThe plastic ones used to be ok, but once they added all of the “safety” features, the containers were almost impossible to dispense fuel from. They’d always break, and pieces would end up in my gas tank, or I’d spill it all over, because the spout wouldn’t seat right. These work as good as the old school metal gas cans! They still have some safety features, but they don’t interfere with the dispensing of fuel! These are well made, and will definitely outlast the new plastic ones!

> 3 dayIMO, the old-style military surplus jerry cans with a reversible goose neck nozzle/lid like my dad had were the perfect gas cans. Then the nanny state decided gas cans needed to be redesigned to keep gas vapors out of the air. As is too often the result of government meddling, the result was cumbersome gas cans that cant be used without spilling gas. The result of which was even more gas vapor in the atmosphere! Even worse, to make the approved cans usable they literally had to be broken! So, for years I made do with what was available, while always on the hunt for something better. Was aware of the Justright line for awhile, but was put off by the price, but tiring of poorly designed cans and needing a larger volume can, I finally took the plunge. Should have done it long ago. The Justright not only meets the new government standards, it works like a real gas can. The design is complicated and expensive, but the can is built like a tank. It is easy to use (albeit not as easy as a jerry can) and the version I bought even has a goose neck nozzle. Only have one now, but plan to add at least another, if not more. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekThis is miles better than the typical plastic cans even though its more expensive. Its easy to fill, easy to carry, and easy to pour gas. It also doesnt smell if you have to put it in the back of a car or SUV after you fill it. I had an issue with a slow leak on mine after 2 years and the company honored their warranty and got me a replacement. Highly recommended.
