> 24 hourI ordered 2 plugs which I received and installed yesterday. This review is on the setup process. I may add more later after some experience in use. The plugs had little documentation other than to download the app and follow instructions. That was enough though. With the app running, you plug in the device, connect to the wifi network the device has started, find your wifi network and log in. I had to type in my wifi password to the app for the first setup but the app remembered it for the 2nd. My plugs control lights in 2 sections of my garden, and I needed to program on/off times. The app interface was so much easier than the boxes I have used in the past. There are settings for dimming levels that I have not yet explored. I was pleased that I was able to plug each one in in my home, program it, unplug it, take it outside and plug it in, and the programming was not lost. Much easier to program in the comfort of my home rather than standing in the flower bed swatting off the mosquitoes. Update After we lost power due to Hurricane Ian, my 3rd timer failed and I bought another plug. I was concerned that this one may not work because all the wiring was in a metal enclosure which Wi-Fi could not penetrate. The plug worked. Though outside it is about 60 feet from my router. A nice thing with all my garden lights on the same plug is they all turn on at the same time. When I had 3 independent timers they came on one at a time over a 10 minute period.

> 24 hourI am using this to control a gutter heat cable. I’ve only had to use it once so far and it worked just fine using my phone to control it remotely. Much better than having to go outside and manually plug something in or turn something on. The plug cover broke off but that doesn’t affect functionality. Deducted one star for that though.

> 24 hourThis works really well. The amperage of my motor is about 13 amps and I have had no problems with the 15 amp smart plug. I wish I would have bought a double smart plug since both can be programmed differently.

> 24 hourGreat product.....does what it was intended to do. Have it set up for backyard accent lighting. I use the scheduled timer to turn it on and off automatically. The app works great!

> 24 hourWith our electricity having recently increased 40% per kWh, I knew this season, I needed to run our pool on a timer rather than 24/7 given it drawing 16amps (@124VAC). Rather than having to go to the trouble and cost of wiring up an actual pool pump timed, I figured I’d just by a heavy duty extension cord, cut the end off to wire to the pump motor, and use this since I already have a ton of Kasa gear. It’s been working perfectly! This unit seems to have no issue handling the nearly 2000w load of the pool motor. The brief startup load is even higher which has not been a problem. The signal range is rather exceptional as well.

> 24 hourI have about 400 watts of outdoor lights. The plug has built in overheating protection, which is great; however at 100% brightness, our outdoor lights are too much for this plug. We had no issues plugged directly into the outlet. We have to die about 50% for this smart plug. The lights are dimmable incidents. Combined about 400watts full power. If they were LED, this might not be an issue.
