This device was easy to setup and works well for my outside lights. I connected it to Alexa and it works great.

So, neither directions in both the Kasa app and the Alexa app or online with TP-Link work. Basically, I had to fumble around in both apps until they merged. Try what I did, open both apps and add TP-Link Kasa to Alexa, open the Kasa app and try to add 3rd party control. Pray, and continue futzing with it. No I idea how, nor could I replicate it if I had to. Total crap directions, very frustrating. It does work now though by some miracle of luck.

Works fine, easy set up and Alexa integration. I am using this indoors so I cannot comment on its effectiveness in outdoor environments.

We recently moved to an apartment with a large balcony. This plug works perfectly with our Alexa and the lights we purchased. Love how you can control how dim or bright you want it by a command.

This is used to control outdoor led dimmable string lights on our gazebo. Being outdoors, there is no issues with staying connected to our router which is inside our home.

Bought this after getting tired of forgetting to go outside to turn holiday decorations lights off and on, and am so happy that Idid! I scheduled it to automatically turn off and on based on sunrise and sunset via the phone app, and was delighted to have one less thing to have to worry about!

Easy to use. Instructions are as easy as plugging in a power cord..

Works great with the Alexa app in controlling our patio lights.
