> 24 hourIt’s solder. It has resin. It flows and makes connections. Isn’t solder pretty much a 1-star or 5-star thing? Is there artisanal solder that I’m missing out on? This stuff works, and it works very well. Buy it.

> 24 hourWhat can you say? Narrow gauge, good for electronics. Ive been using Kester for 50 years, as long as they havent changed the formula it should be fine

> 24 hourIf youre like me, you might think youre a noob at soldering. Again and again, I lift pads, make dull joints, and just overall have a crappy, frustrating time doing soldering jobs. Then I took a long hard look at the tools I was using... my iron was fine, a Hakko FX-888D. Probably the best in the business, for a casual home solderer. Next is the solder itself... Lead-free rosin core. Hmmm, could this be the problem? After getting this 63-37 leaded solder, I can most definitively say: yes, lead-free IS the problem. Love the lead. Live the lead. After finishing up a soldering job for the balance plug of a 2S Lipo (FPV quads, if anyone was interested), I looked at the joint and I was wowed at such a good job I did. Or rather, such a good job the leaded solder did. Shiny, flawless, just perfect. Live the lead! Lose the lead-free!

> 24 hourUsing this stuff for audio cables and it works really well. Melts predictably and holds strong.

> 24 hourThis has been my standard solder for the past year. Couple this with no clean flux and your set for most small/medium soldering projects.

> 24 hourI dont like having dirty PCBs - I started out using Kester 44 which is super easy to use, fantastic solder. But it also leaves behind hard, yellow flux that is difficult to clean. This stuff though, is the opposite. It definitely requires getting used to, if you arent already used to such low-flex solders. But the end result will look better. There IS still residue on the PCB, but it is clear if you leave it on there, and very easy to clean with alcohol or contact cleaner

> 24 hourGreat for soldering on printed circuit boards. Finished projects required very little cleaning. For non-PCB soldering, I still prefer old-fashion regular rosin-core solder for its ease of flow. All Kester solders are great quality products.
