I was skeptical about this tool but we had professionals come in after we took our readings and their tools agreed with this one. Worth the cost. It does require pressing the tool on the surface so its not for checking dampness from a distance. Easy to use and read.

I received it today so 4 stars for now for overall rating and accuracy. Its extremely easy to use and read. The battery installation is easy-unscrew the cover and in 2 minutes the battery and cover are in their place. The packaging isnt difficult to open as you only need to cut 1-2 sides to remove the product. Im pleased with this product, its speed, simplicity and the easy to read screen size.

I purchased this due to minor flooding in my home during Hurricane Ida. Some areas in my house were wet and others were not. However, since i wasnt sure of some areas i figured Id give this a shot. It worked like a charm. It was on point and told me exactly where the moisture was an how much of it. It saved me time and money since i knew which walls had to be cut or not. Very easy to use as well.

Product received overnight. Packaging is solid and shatter proof. It is intuitive and very easy to use and read. It comes with a simple owners manual but there is no need to read it, as the product is user friendly. I recommend it.

After I arrived at my condo, found we had a water leak coming up through the slab. As we worked to determine where it was coming from, I ordered this to help find how extensive the leak was and it sure helped me in working through the mitigation process with the contractor. I left it in the condo just in case we go through this again. Its not as accurate as the expensive units but its close. I had to use it convince the contractor he had not cut the sheetrock up high enough to allow it wall to dry out. Save me a lot of yelling when I showed him..

I have a rental property and the water heater gave out, flooding the unit. Although we were able to clear it up quickly, I needed to know where the moisture was and this device was invaluable.

This is the easiest to use and self explanatory. Seems to be very accurate. I dont build anything without checking the moisture in the materials that Im using. And this has saved me from making a bad product for customers.
